From the day I ordered the ice cream freezer until four days later when I received it, and two days later when I made my first ice cream, it couldn't have gone any smoother. The freezer was easy to use, clean up was a breeze and the finished product was just as good or better than store bought ice cream. I'm serious. You may need to find recipes on-line then adapt them to the machine, but other than that, it works great and fairly quietly. You will need lots of ice and rock salt for the freezing process. Ice cream is probably same price, but for knowing what you put in there and waiting 30 minutes (or more) if you want to put it in the freezer, I think the quality of home made is far superior than store-bought ice cream !
