Fantastic purchase. I’ve been searching for a nice taupe boot for ages and this one fits the bill. I love that you can zip closed the part with lace, or leave it open to add a bit of A feminine touch. Received multiple compliments when I wore them to work. Also, they do have a heel but it is a block heel so I’m not wobbling everywhere. I was able to wear them all day without my feet hurting, which is an unexpected bonus. I have smaller calves and there is a bit of room in the calf area even if I’m wearing skinny jeans, so if you want these to fit super snug on your leg but have small legs, they probably will not. At 5 ft 1, they land right behind my knee, but don’t cut into my leg when sitting, so they are just right. Honestly I can’t say enough great things about them. They look and feel quality, which is nice because I hate a cheap plastic looking boot. These are not it and definitely worth the money. Just buy them already while you still can! You won’t regret it. These are so cute, I just wish I could wear them! The heel is a bit narrow at the bottom so I feel wobbly when I walk. In all fairness, I've never worn more than a 2in heel but thought I'd take the risk. If only they had a little chunkier heel (sigh). I always wear an 8 in boots but got these in 8-1/2 and the fit is perfect so I'd recommend going 1/2 size up. They have a nice cusioned insole. My friend has a birthday coming up so I hope she'll like them. I also got a pair of Not Rated "Yoko" tan boots, also 8-1/2, which I love and are super comfy. I highly recommend this seller/brand! These boots were clearly already worn. The toes of the boots show wear or whatever happened to them as the material is dirty and worn, and does not match the color of the rest of the boots. Bottoms of boots have scuff marks, which isn’t the issue, it’s the color on the toes of the boots that have been either wet and worn or somehow damaged and discolored and appear used. The leg fits a bit wider than expected, there is a shorter inside zipper - which I didn’t need to undo to get my foot into- but may help if your foot or calf is wider. I would say they run about a half size larger than expected, and the lace would have made these boots super cute but the discoloration on the boots is the only thing you can notice when seeing them sadly . The outside zipper does not appear to work or is just for aesthetics purposes . Overall I would have kept them if someone else hadn’t gotten them dirty before I bought them “new.” Read more

Super disappointed. I have a light tan/brown pair I bought YEARS (11 years) ago from Von Maur and shoes size was a size 8. I purchased the black pair in the size 8 on here and the size fits like a 7 WITHOUT socks. Super snug and tight in the heel and toe. I was going to wear them to my work holiday party but I won’t receive the new pair in time. They aren’t the true brand I bought from Von Maur but I love the look and style and comfort of the original so much. And black is 98% of my wardrobe. I will buy another pair in a bigger size. I bought my first pair on a knock off website, cause they were cute, but I didn’t want to spend that much on them. They just weren’t as cute or as good of quality as these. I haven’t spent this much (I have issues spending money on myself) on boots for myself in a LONG time—and I LOVE boots. But these are worth every penny. So adorable, I found excuses to wear them, well in to warm weather, whenever there was a rainy day. This boot was the Best Buy I’ve made this week!!! $18 and it is just as pictured: Fire!! This boot is great quality and very, very comfortable. I wear, and bought, a size 10-perfect fit. It looks so good on me!!! And will look good in anyone who purchased it. My calves are medium in size. They are not real small but not considered big. They fit me nicely around the calf, but does not hug it tightly. Large calves may have a little trouble. I love this boot!!!! Read more
