My teen daughter has mild scoliosis and plays volleyball more than the average volleyball player. She is constantly diving and throwing her body around on a hard floor. She sees a chiropractor regularly and gets massages sometimes. Doesn’t really help much at times. Sometimes her pain is pretty significant at times. Her mattress is also firm. She asked for a firm mattress a year ago but it’s actually too firm. It’s a quality mattress but she thinks because it’s so hard, it could be contributing to her pain. I told her we’d try a mattress topper. So, I searched and ended up choosing this one. I have to say, I was instantly disappointed/worried when I first opened it out of the wrapping. I thought, “There’s no way this thing is going to expand the way it’s supposed to!” It just looked impossible. I have purchased vacuum sealed products several times but this mattress topper was super thin and had a large line down the middle where it was folded in half when I removed it from the plastic. I truly didn’t think it would even out. I was frustrated already thinking id have to return it. However, I left it to hopefully do its thing and came back 45 mns later and it was perfect! So anyone who purchases this, don’t automatically be caught off guard by its appearance when you open it initially. My daughter LOVES it! It’s truly perfect. It has made her bed a million times more comfortable. I am praying her back improves more and more. It isn’t too heavy like some toppers can be, which makes them difficult to maneuver around. Seems to be durable as well. It also stays in place. It had absolutely no chemical or strong smell at all. Just smelled clean! This took about 26 hours to puff up to it's intended size! It's very cold here and was probably on the truck for days, so it was frozen solid when it got here. It's nice, fits the twin mattress just a tad bit big but not enough to be bothersome. It's not soft at all, more medium to firm. The photo I added is after 12 hours of it starting to come around. :) That lump in the middle settle out after about 20 hours. By 26 it was perfect. It's cool, when you get up from laying on it, it has dips where your heavy body parts were, and they bounce right back. :) If it were Summer or a warmer Winter area, it wouldn't take near as long. I ordered 2 of these in February 2025, one for me and one for a family member. Mine lasted about 4 months until my twisting and turning ripped a hole in the middle. It collects heat, and I sweat a lot. (keeps you warm in winter but extra hot in summer). It is very comfy though, and I loved it until my butt was in the bed! For my family member, it lasted about 6 months, and they also ripped it down the middle. They don't last long. I would buy something else. The rip is about 2 or 3 feet long. This mattress topper is simply unbelievable. I can sleep well and wake up refreshed and not sore or with a backache. I bought this due to issues with my back, and I have never been so pleased with a purchase. You cannot go wrong with the quality, comfort, and exceptional price of these mattress topper. This mattress is awesome. It has right firmness and softness. Doesn’t make me sweat and is providing pain relief to my back. It seems quite durable and light weight. The mattress that I have is a hard spring mattress, so there isn't much cushion at all. I got this to see if I could make it softer without needing to buy a whole new mattress. This topper is really soft and pretty easy to set up too. It's not the prettiest mattress topper, but you don't even see it and the functionality is what's important. I got the 3 inch thick one, it feels like a completely new mattress, now I find it hard to get out of bed in the morning because its so comfortable. Read more

I want to give this 2 stars because I specifically was looking for a cooling mattress topper, but this is so comfortable that I only docked it one point. I get hot when I sleep. This memory foam topper retains so much body heat, I was waking up at night drenched in sweat. I has to take it off my bed until a mattress protector comes in that will hopefully mitigate the heat retention. My husband who normally gets cold at night even woke up sweating from the mattress toppers heat retention. Be warned. It is super plush and comfy outside of that though. Read more
