Elevates my laptop screen and keyboard so I'm not hunched over. Very well made with a solid feel. It ingeniously folds down into a small metal rectangle (whoever designed this should get a mechanical design award), but when opened and in use, holds the laptop securely without any movement. I love this little laptop stand it is awesome. It folds up into this hand sized part, it literally fits in the palm of your hand. LOL It's really cool how this folds and unfolds. It is pure metal and very tough feeling. I have a bad case of the dropsies and this has survived so far. The quality is nice, the finish looks good. This is well worth the money. I like this better than other bulky laptops stands, it fits perfectly in my bag. This thing takes up less room than a computer mouse. It is about the size and weight of a really large, thick pocket knife. LOL Read more
The media could not be loaded. I liked how sturdy it is when you set it up and how the way it hooks to control the height stays in place. My previous stand is similar but plastic. If you moved it from one place to the other the adjustment is lost, so I thought this was a nice upgrade. Then I setup my laptop and accidentally noticed there was a little jiggly motion when applying a little pressure to the laptop from any point above the keyboard and was worried it could fall to the back, which is a worry I never had with my old stand. I am not expecting me or anyone else to do that (pushing or pulling the laptop) of course, so I kept using this stand and have been using my computers as normal for a few, and I am relieved there is no problem at the moment. I am more inclined to use this stand regardless than the plastic one because this one stays in place and the other one dissembles itself when moved. I just hope it stays where it's supposed to. Maybe it could be a little longer but it's good. Read more
