Nunn Bush Mens Bleeker Street Slip on Loafer

I love Nunn Bush shoes. I bought my first pair at Kohl's. I'm a class 8 truck sales consultant, and I'm on my feet all day in the office, shop, and the paved and unpaved parking lot. I dress business casual, and have to look good, yet need a shoe that is comfortable, looks great, tough, and are easy to clean. These shoes meet all of my specifications. They look great. All of the Nunn Bush line is very stylish. The gel in the heel and great arch support, as well as the impact absorbent sole and insole work together to make them the most comfortable dress/casual shoes I've ever used. These shoes are also tough. Aside from walking around in the office, the shop where there's dirt, oil, etc. on the floor, I also have to walk in a dirt/gravel lot, and climb onto, in and out of semi trucks all day. Their steps are metal with slightly sharp edges for grip. The sole of these shoes do not get cut, do not allow the rough surface to be felt through the shoe, and have a great grip. They also are very easy to clean. Many quality leather dress/casual shoes are very hard to clean and maintain, and once you get them a little wet or dirty, are basically ruined. The first pair I bought are brown, and even though I would get them dirty, muddy, and a little wet, I could scrub them clean, clean the leather with some saddle soap, and after a nice shine with a coat of shoe polish, would end up looking great. These black ones are VERY shiny. Much more shiny than I expected. The first week, they looked like fake hard plastic. But after I got them dirty a couple times and broke them in, they have a nice shine that's not too bright. These black ones are extremely easy to clean, I just have to wipe them down with a damp towel, and they look perfect. If they're really dirty, I use mild dish soap and scrub them with a soft brush, then use a towel, and they still look great. These shoes are some of the few choices available for those with really wide feet. I have extra wide feet and have bought 4 pairs to date. They last about 2 years before they reach "garden status". They look pleathery, and can be polished. Over time they do stretch somewhat. Very comfortable and clean looking. They don't age particularly well as a good leather shoe may. I buy them, wear them until they are worn out, and then still keep them for around the house until their soles give out. Are they the best shoe ever? No. They are comfy enough and easy enough to wear I buy them over and over. 4 stars since they don't last as long as I want them to. If you have wide feet, definitely consider these. Read more

I never write reviews, but here I am because these shoes are perfect. I’m one of those people who don’t splurge and will wear out my shoes and clothes to the max so longevity and comfort are important to me. My last pair of dress shoes were completely worn out after 10+ years of use so you could imagine how nervous I was to buy dress shoes online not being able to try them on in a store like back in the day. I did a ton of looking and saw these, ordered a pair of the wide versions because of my wider feet and they fit perfectly. I will say that you should order true to your foot size. I typically wear size 12 in most shoes due to my wider feet but my feet are actually 11.5, the size 12 in these were too long so I replaced them with my true size 11.5 and they are just right. They required zero break-in, instantly comfortable to wear all day. The soles are nice and soft and you could feel the softness under your toes as you walk, I’m a bigger guy at 265lbs so trust me when I tell you these are a great buy. I haven’t tested them long term yet but for the price and comfort, I don’t really care, I’ll buy one of these every few years if I have to. I just hope they extend the color range to include lighter browns as well, I’d like to get them in multiple tones. Read more

This was the second pair of these shoes I have purchased in 6 months and they didn't last three weeks without splitting all over the front. These shows use to last a year minimum. Very disappointing. Have been wearing these shoes for over twenty years because they were so comfortable and durable. That's no longer the case. Read more

When you have feet that are not "average" it is difficult to find a shoe that fits well. The Nunn Bush shoes in Extra Wide fit me very well. Extra Wide is rated as 3-W. My instep is high along with a 4-W width. I ordered a half-size larger than my actual foot measurement and it is working out perfectly. The shoe is very comfortable, well cushioned, and does not allow my heel to slip in and out when I walk. This is my go-to brand of shoe now, As a footnote, I have tried other brands a half-size smaller in Extra-Extra Wide, a.k.a. 5-W. They did not fit as well as the Nunn Bush. Read more
