These shoes are comfortable and light and just what the doctor ordered if you have to do a lot of standing/walking. However, after a couple of days using it, my medial plantar (bottom of foot right under the toes) started to hurt a bit. It was not too painful, just that it was there. The degree of discomfort while wearing this pair has not escalated. I'll continue to wear it until I wear it out. I was in the market for the Bourbon Street Moc Toe (lace up) but, I guess, those are hard to come by these days for some reason. I've been wearing Bourbon Street Mocs for years. Now, those shoes are the cat's meow when it comes to work/dress shoes. I'd wear them out and get new ones but the comfort level would never go out. I was excited about these shoes at first, but they started falling apart within weeks. The heel began separating after just two weeks, which I was OK with — it’s a quick fix with super glue. But now the sole is peeling away from the bottom. While they are comfortable and I thought I’d finally found a great shoe, the poor quality is a dealbreaker.
