I purchased 2 of these for our 80 lb catahoula leopard dog girls. Fits perfectly in their crates which measure 48x30x33. The mattress take a day to completely fluff up. They are nice and thick with a good quilted zippered cover. Has tiny rubber like dots on the bottom to help keep it from sliding. I still use waterproof elasticized crib mattress covers on them to make a quick cleanup & wash easier. This adds a comfy layer & protects the integrity of the mattress & quilted cover. LOVE these beds! Bought as crate pads for my guys. My dogs love them, and they are a perfect, easy to clean fit! Purely by coincidence, one of my dogs was ill and had a major accident in his crate a few days after purchasing these. It was appalling, and I ended up throwing the whole bed out, but when I was attempting to see if I could clean/save it, I was surprised to find that the cover had blocked all of the moisture from soaking through to the cushion. I threw out the one that received the worst of the damage because I was worried about a lingering smell and just couldn't bring myself to go through the deep clean, but the one that had just been splattered and had more minor soiling cleaned beautifully and was good as new. Dogs do fine on these. I have 2 labs at about 85lbs each (and they are adorable!). they are 8 and 6 years old so they are starting to become very discerning about their bedding. These are a touch firm for them, but I always want to err on the side of firm vs too soft. Seem nice and sturdy and should hold up well over time and the foam isn't likely to sag or get worn out. Very nice dog bed. Soft velvety cover with grippy material on the bottom zips over egg crate foam. But if your dogs are chewers, it wont last long. My boys didn't let it live 24 hours :( Read more
