Arrived promptly, works perfectly. Amazon certified refurb did it again! Five stars. The only thing bad I have to say about this product is that their "celebrity spokesman" is David Avocado Wolfe, a man who will sell your loved ones a cancer cure based on salt and electric shocks. No lie - the guy sells a $150 machine that gives you the same shocks as a dog collar, to cure cancer. But their choice of pitchmen doesn't change the fact that the nutribullet is HANDS DOWN the best juicer/blender of its type, far outshines my Ninja Storm (QVC special) for juicing, although I wouldn't use it for general purpose blending (at which the Ninja excels). I bought this for my niece to share the experience. I got one a few weeks back form Sears same unit. 1. Take the time to read the directions. 2. Use it every day. If you want to make margaritas or mudslides just get a blender. This will work for 1 or 2 at a time but then you are going to have to let it rest so you dont burn out the motor. I really really enjoy these I tend to be lazy so when I get hungry I will order out or send someone for fast food. This gives me a quick way to toss together a healthy meal in a few minutes. It is trues simple to clean as long as you dont drink out of the bender cup and leave it sitting. I have a place where i leave the blade face down when i get done i rinse it and cup and put them up. 30 secs to clean. Again**read the directions** do not abuse it or put the wrong things in it, it can be dangerous (toxins), and you are way more likely to burn out the unit in a few months. I also recommend buying the 32 ounce and milling blade (16.00 an 6.00 here) the 32 ounce cup makes it a lot easier to not overfill and get in the stuff you want in. **even if the unit burns out in 3 months It will be worth while for me. I'll buy a referb base and move on or get the 900 watt. If you are already into juicing i'd recomment the more expensive units, even though I havent tried them I still get a lot of pulp with this with some items. It works wonderfully and may be the best kitchen appliance I've ever bought, but there are some caveats to that. I have noticed some weird, black leakage coming out the underside of the blades which has made cleaning the base unit a hassle. You can't really clean inside the base where the blades fit well, and you also can't submerge the base in water to try cleaning it that way. This is also definitely not 8 pieces unless you look at it in the most literal phrasing, and even then it's only 7. I would call this 3, maybe 4 pieces. You get the stand, the blades, a large cup, a small cup, and 2 plastic rings that serve no purpose (they are not lids, they're open rings). I love this blender, I use it every morning to make spinach and protein powder smoothies. It blends fast and supper smooth. I've had cheaper blenders in the past, and this one blows them outta the water. I like how you can remove the blade and attach a lid, and drink directly out of the plastic blending componate. The one this I dislike is the fact that it's not necessarily a super easy cleanup. What I mean is, you have to be careful not to jam pack the blender with food/fruit whatever. If you do, it won't blend as well, and will seep thru the screw on blade. So when you remove the plastic container, you'll have trades of smoothie (or whatever you were blending) at the bottom of the blender, and it's tough to get it out of all the nooks and crannies. I do however like that you get an extra plastic container, but I wish it was larger. Other than that I love this blender. Read more
