I bought one for a friend's German Shepherd a few years ago and the dog carried it everywhere and played with it for years. The football did eventually split at a seam, but it gave years of play. I bought this one to replace the first one. Toughest dog toy I have found, and I have been through many! Read more

Bought the basketball a week or so back. My 85lb lab loves it. The hard rubber toys are best, he can destroy anything. The basketball is holding up nicely. Got the football hoping for the same kind of toy. This was a football shaped tennis ball. He had it un fuzzed and in pieces in under 30 minutes. Truthfully it was probably lass than 10. Not for the aggressive chewer. It feels heavy and solid, but it's hard to pick up and just disintegrated. Don't waste the money. Read more

This is hands-down, the best toy for a super chewer. Although I had to take the felt off, under the felt is a thick rubber that my toy-destroying dog has not been able to destroy yet. I wish the felt wasn’t there, maybe just brown printed on the rubber material instead, but honestly, I can’t complain that much when there are zero toys that can survive him for more than a few months, and if it does survive a few months, I call it a win. We’ve had this for about six months now and it’s in no worse shape than after the first day he got it. Also he just flat out, loves it. He loves outdoor toys so much. They just can’t survive him usually. This one does! I will say that it doesn’t throw like a football because it’s such a heavy rubber, but he doesn’t mind. I would just say that if your dog likes you to throw far distances, this probably isn’t the best one. Read more

First of all, let me start by saying my dog LOVED this football. He was absolutely excited to play with it. I threw it to him a few times and he enjoyed catching it. But as soon as I turned my back he was tearing the fabric cover off it, it was gone in about 5 minutes. I figured it was OK, I didn't expect that part to last all that long, but a few minutes later the squeaking stopped, he had punctured the ball. I decided to see how long the rest would last. This picture is 8 minutes after he killed the squeaker. It was a complete waste of money BUT he enjoyed himself. And we had fun when I was engaged in the play time. If I buy another I will definitely make it a interactive game between us and not a unsupervised toy. Read more

My puppy loves this ball. He is a Maltipoo and his mouth is not very big, The ball is perfect for him because of it's design which makes it easy to grab. However, he ruined the first one already by chewing off the felt on one side. Bought another one! Other than the felt coming off, very good quality. Read more

My dog and I play football while watching the games, she always looks for this toy first. Shape and fuzzy surface makes it easy for her to catch. Her other larger friends haven’t destroyed it yet either! Read more

The football is great. A bit different from traditional footballs for dogs. (That I've seen.) The weight is really good. Since the ball was popped within about 4 minutes, it is softer for chewing. The squeaker did go out super fast which was a disappointment since the sound they made was awesome. I like the texture also. All in all it's a great toy. I left the above review a couple of days ago. Today The outside cloth has begun to peel off. This wasn't one of the cheaper toys and I'm not happy about not getting a refund. Not even an exchange.
