These cloth like table covers look great and are easy to use to protect your dining table. They are made of a stretchy material with a stretch band and fit very well on table tops with their respective listed measurements. The material used is the same thickness as most table cloths and is semi transparent; if used on a glass tabletop you will see some of the material as a darker shade. So far I have used both sides of these table covers; one side is more fabric like and is waterproof the other side is shiny and is also oil proof. I have a dining table that has been passed down for generations. I only add leaves to it for special occasions, so most of the time , it’s a 42” round table —which is very difficult to find tablecloths sized for. My space is limited, and I was always pushing against the table walking past it, and dragging the tablecloth askew. Before, I had purchased the vinyl fitted covers. They were poor quality, but I used them anyway because they stayed in place. I’m so glad I found these! They make a better appearance in my semi-formal dining area than the vinyl did. This is a very pretty navy blue fitted tablecloth. It's a bit thinner than expected but fits my table nicely. After opening the package, it was very wrinkled, but I put it in the dryer on fluff, and the wrinkles disappeared. It is water resistant, cleans up nicely, protects my table, but I'm unsure about how durable it will be over time since the material is so thin. Read more
