I really needed a new placemat for my computer desk floor. I have hardwood flooring and eventually I can cause damage on my wheeled seat. A previous floor desk mat I had was one of those clear plastic ones. After a year it got ugly, would always curl up and was just frustrating to use. I decided to get anew one and this time I wanted something that resembled my throw rug and would remain flat. I took a chance on this one and can say I am quite happy with it. Not only does it look nice, it remains flat and my chair rolls over with ease. I use it horizontally, which in the size I got (medium of em all ) is more than enough for my chair to rollback and forth without rolling off. It has a sort of tact to the bottom of it (not "sticker sticky" but sticky) so its easy to place and fit where you want it. I will admit, because of my cynical self, I took my time to place it down and put some very light weight on the corners, I ensuring it was smoothed out and even, and left it like that for 24 hours! I don't know if thats needed or has an impact but I can say it hasn't budged from its position after a month of use, and I can roll on it with ease. I don't expect it to last a Decade, but I do sense it will last longer than my last solution and it looks good! So for the price I think it was more than worth it! *be sure to measure your space, and account for it as I did comparing the different sizes they offer. ;) Read more

Thin but has a good backing. Good pattern. Only downside is that the rug was folded, in a sealed bag and box so all the folds remain even after use. Why doesn’t Amazon think about these things and roll their rugs? Read more

These are beautiful! I got one in each size and the colors are vibrant and amazing. I am using them as my kitchen entrance mats near outside door to catch the snow etc and keep it from being tracked in on my luxury vinyl plank floor and as a boot mat for wet shoes to drip on. Wish they had them in a runner size like 2 1/2 x6 foot . I haven’t needed to wash them yet but my vacuum runs over them easily and they stay put; they don’t slip and slide like throw rugs do. Very flat so my chair wheels won't get caught in carpet fibers. The back is rubberized so it won't slip. It arrived with a crease from being folded during shipping which hasn't gone away after a few days of having it out. Two of the corners also curl up. Ironing might fix it, but I am concerned about the rubber back interacting with heat so I can't say either way. The design is cute, I didn't realize it had strawberries on it so that was a pleasant surprise when I opened it up. Read more

Although this is marketed as appropriate for Low Pile Carpet it isn't suitable for this use. I'd hoped to cover up intractable stains on my office carpet and it does that, however my office chair won't roll easily across the surface. It looks nice and has a sticky back so probably works better on a hard floor. Read more
