This projector is exactly what I was looking for! It has an excellent app interface that is really easy to use and the remote control is very responsive. Picture quality was really impressive for this size projector. The images were crisp and clear on our screen. We used this both on a wall and on a projection screen and it worked really well for either option. I was able to set up my streaming services and stream movies and shows without issue. The sound quality was impressive for this too, requiring no external speakers. If you want more beefy sound, it’s very easy to connect to an external speaker via Bluetooth. The tilting feature was really cool and allows us to easily manipulate where we wanted the screen to project- we aimed it at the wall and ceiling. The media could not be loaded. This projector has truly exceeded all expectations. The picture quality even projected onto a regular painted wall looks absolutely stellar and vivid. The built in speakers, and built-in apps allows for quick and easy plug and play, simply connect to WiFi and you have a built in system that allows you to view all major streaming platforms (and extras I wasn’t even aware existed). I’ll be using mine to project on the empty wall of my office to have some background shows on while I’m working. Nice, small, and light projector. Compared to my previous projector, it has, in my opinion, a slightly better image, especially in the corners. Due to the small fan size, the noise is more noticeable. It’s also great that it allows the installation of additional apps. For example, I tried installing Jellyfin, which works great with Full HD movies, but it lacks a bit of power for 4K content. This is not a problem for me because I use the external HDMI input along with a Fire TV 4K Max and an Onkyo receiver for surround sound anyway. Read more

I’m really happy with this. The best part is the built-in apps, it basically has everything I use like Netflix and HBO, so I didn't have to plug anything in. The auto focus is great, it gets the picture sharp right away without me doing anything. I’ve been using it in my bedroom and the stand is awesome for pointing it at the ceiling. I’m pretty happy with this projector for the price — it’s a solid budget pick around $130. The picture quality is good for casual movie nights and streaming in a dark room, and having built-in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and apps makes it convenient. It handles 4K decoding but doesn’t actually project true 4K, which is something to keep in mind — it’s native 1080p and will look best at that resolution. I purchased this unit for camping trips but I was a little skeptical of the claims. After receiving the unit, I plugged it and connected it to the air antenna for testing prior to using on trips. I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of the image. I was projecting the image on a wall painted in light brown (see images) but the image was clear and in focus. The swiveling stand is okay but it would be better if the user has the option to remove it. The projector can be connected to a tripod, so removing the swiveling stand would make the unit even smaller. But the current model does not allow to remove the stand. The quality of the image is fantastic, and the built-in speaker are more than adequate, but if you need more volume, the unit is capable of supporting an external speaker. In my test, I connected an over-the-air small tuner. The projector automatically recognized the HDMI tuner and projected the image without any issues. If you are looking for a small TV projector with high quality images, this might be the unit you are probably looking for. Read more

I was looking for a good quality projector that wasn’t too pricey for my bedroom since the kids have taken over the one in the living room, so I decided to give the S36 a try. I’ve been really impressed. Setup was fast. The auto focus and keystone actually work well so the image stays sharp without much effort. I just logged into my streaming apps and everything loaded fine. The sound is better than I expected for a small projector too. No complaints so far. I do wish the power cord was a bit longer, but it's a good easy option if you want a second screen in the house. Read more
