This Olay Regenerist chemical peel is very gentle. It would be good for folks who are just beginning to build a skincare routine and have not used a lot of chemical exfoliators before. I've been using this at least a few times per week for several weeks now. It says it can be used nightly, but I like to switch it out a couple of times per week with a stronger exfoliator, especially on days I've been wearing heavy makeup. Since I started using this, I've noticed my skin looks a bit brighter and clearer. The results are subtle for me, but still noticeable. I would say that this is more of a serum-like product than a peel. It does not cause my skin to flake off the next morning after using it. I have dry skin to begin with, but it seems to make my skin a little drier, so I just apply extra moisturizer after it. It does not sting or cause me any irritation. It also does not have a scent. It absorbs quickly, so it's easy to incorporate into my routine. I think this is a decent value. If you're looking for a strong exfoliator that will cause flaking, this may be too gentle for you. However, if you're looking for a light exfoliator that you can use like a serum, then I think you may like this. Read more

I am a little confused by the name of this product. It is called a “resurfacing peel” but any peel I have used always needed to be removed. With that being said, I did notice after only one use, my facial skin was softer. The almost clear liquid went on smoothly, absorbed quickly and had no smell. It felt lightweight and not oily at all. The pump glass container is a pretty shade of purple. It says to use generously, which is about 4 or 5 pumps for the average face, not sure how many pumps are in a 1 ounce bottle. My experience has been free of any reaction like itching or redness. As a woman of a certain age I welcome any improvement to my facial skin and appearance especially those stated by this product. It is made by a very well known cosmetic company noted for skin improvement, so I look forward to the results. Read more
