It has a light floral smell with a hint of honey, almost like a soft version of the old Sweet Pea scent from Bath & Body Works. It’s not overpowering at all. You only really smell it when dispensing or applying it—once it’s on your skin, the scent completely disappears. No headaches, no lingering fragrance. Application-wise, this serum is silky smooth and spreads beautifully. It made me realize my skin wasn’t as soft as I thought—because after using this, my skin felt noticeably softer, hydrated, and plump. This stuff is amazing! I am getting benefits I never dreamed…I have only had it 3 days but had to report my immediate results! I have a patch of seborrhea on my left eyelid that is an annoyance daily. I tried this serum on my eye and no burning or stinging. No irritation at all! I put my makeup on and thought little more of it. At the end of the day, no dry flaky patch or makeup issues there at all! No eye itching or irritation all day! This is something I thought I just had to live with. As for the general serum I think the lines around my eyes are less prominent and my skin feels soft and moisturized. I am 40 and on a budget for skin care and this product (plus the nighttime serum) have replaced $100s of worth of product that I was using with a much better result. There are a number of Olay products that I really like. Unfortunately, the Olay Super Serum is not one of them. What I am most disappointed with is the texture and thickness of this product. The commercial that has the model with the serum on her face is so misleading. This stuff is a step above water in thickness. If you pump it onto your face, half of it runs down. I’ve lost serum by pumping and it dripping off. I am a big fan of Estee Lauder’s Perfectionist CP&R face lotion. Although it is more expensive, it is totally worth it. That is the consistency I want in a lotion. Not to mention my face feels great after applying. The Olay Super Serum is ok. It doesn’t smell or leave your skin feeling sticky or dry, I just don’t like it as much as their other products. I would return if I could. Read more
