Our favorite hard shell tacos made with corn
These are our family's favorite taco shells. They are gluten-free and dairy-free which is required for me to be able to eat it. I like the standing stuff because it allows me to fill it easier. I like the crunch. Read more

Big tacos!
These are for stuffing big tacos, which i do. Just be sure to stand them up on the cookie sheet when you warm them in the oven:) If you warm them on their sides they close and later break when you fill them:( Read more
It's all about convenience
Can't beat the ability to stand up your taco shells to fill them. Really, it is all about the ease of use here. Old El Paso is not real mexican food in my opinion, but the brand has brought a whole new category of cuisine to the masses; for that, I applaud them. The flavor is barely noticeable, they are a bit thin and crumble while eating, but they are a nice alternative to the soft tacos. And the stand-up form make it simple to prepare tacos for a family. I think they are innovative and effective. Read more

Easy for toddlers, fills as big as you want. Great buy.
This is a great product that improves if you follow directions and heat in the oven. Don't expect it to be of quality of your most gourmet Mexican restaurant but I've also eaten at many over price joints that were serving not made in house shells. These shells are a hit at me house because toddlers can nor easily eat a taco that stands up. This isn't a big bonus for grown ups unless you fill your tacos so full you need help eating them. My husband them definitely isn't a grown up. He is guilty of this. These are nice sized shells so you can get at least two meals out of one box if you Serb e sides like beans or salad. The e tea bonus of ordering through pantry is they were $1 per box. That's right -- one buck. I just called my locallalu owners market and with tax the same Box is $2.82. So, that's nearly one for the price of three. Makes it a super buy if you have prime. Only downside is they are so big and the convenient design allows for a lot to be added, so you might run through meat quicker. The upside is they don't get soggy for a long time. Definitely will rebuy. Read more
