These were purchased to replace my last pair of low-heeled black pumps for church. I ordered my size: 8.5 wide (black patent) and they fit well and will even allow for a thin heel pad and sole of foot pads for comfort. Two issues...there is barely any traction on the outer sole and will probably wear away quickly. I plan to look for a kind of shoe glue to apply thinly there to keep them from being slippery later. Second: there is next to no padding on the insole so order a size that will allow enough room for you to provide your own. Other than those two minor things this is a great pair of shoes that have a low heel, comfortable toe box, nice finish and seem to be a great value for the price. Since they'll only be worn once a week they will probably hold up fine for my needs. I hope the manufacturer will add navy and bone in a non-suede, non-patent finish eventually. Read more

So, I have mixed feelings on these shoes. First off, the positives: they are true to the color, and shape in the photos. They are a very simple, but elegant shoe. However, they do run a bit big (about a 1/2 to full size bigger), and I unfortunately missed that in the product description. Even so, after trying many toe inserts to make them the correct size, I can confidently say these heels have crazy slippage, even if they were an accurate size. I needed to buy heel pads just to prevent them from coming off, even with effective shoe inserts. They aren't very comfortable, my feet were tender after wearing them for some time. The sole is also extremely slippery, if your walking in the wet or a sleek floor, your likely to lose your footing (I nearly took a fall on two separate occasions of me wearing them). Overall, they look great, but in practice, they simply aren't as functional or comfortable as other shoes. I wouldn't recommend them, and would encourage others not to be brought in by the price.
