So, I was surprised and delighted! I needed a pair of bright red shoes ASAP, and these were inexpensive and shipped fast. OK - I was SO thrilled - not only are they quite stylish in a very classic way (who doesn't love red patent pumps!!!) they look GOOD on my feet and they are ... wait for it... actually COMFORTABLE! I have worn them for hours without pain. The soles are NOT slippery - there's some sort of bumpy stuff on them that actually works to stop slips - and they are easy to walk in. They are true to size - I wear a 9, and it fits without rubbing anywhere; and the construction is sturdy - it doesn't feel like they're going to wobble or collapse. I have a tough time as my left foot is a little larger than the right. A size 9 is perfect for my left, and an 81/2 for my right. So, finding a pair that works is a challenge. These are it! I am ordering the black patent now. These are comfortable from the start, they have support, and some sexy appeal. These are very cute, but very uncomfortable. There's absolutely no arch support whatsoever. I also wish they had it in wide sizes. My toes are a little cramped.
