The finishing touch to unique bare bulb lighting for my open living dining kitchen area. When turned on they cast a soft glow that is perfect for mood lighting. Very attractive and filaments give a nice glow. Not effective for bright lights - but perfect for accent and atmosphere. Very attractive on hanging wire fittings. Nice and big so do not get visually diluted by the light fittings. Read more

This lamp bulb is a replacement for one that I accidentally broke. I have a steampunk retro looking lamp base that originally had an Edison style bulb with an LED twist shaped filament. At nearly 5-inches diameter, this OMED bulb is a perfect replacement. I had looked at bulbs with a surface texture on them and other shapes. I preferred the nearly round look and the smoke glass color. Since the lamp has a dimmer switch on the cord I needed the bulb to be compatible. The bulb displays a continuous range of light output. Bought two, one was slightly scratched but they’re nice and have a great warm color. In my pictures they’re a little more silvery looking than they are in person. I’d say they’re more of a chocolatey brown. Read more
