Big and bright WARM light!

Bulb was exactly as described. It's really big at 11" long, and has a blown glass "Edison bulb" look. Screwed in easily to the 15ft fabric covered plug-in cord and switch I got bought at HD. Looks great hanging lit or unlit, and is a unique, stylish addition to lighting an area. The amber LED filament light is very easy on the eyes and the amber tint in the glass makes it cast a warm but bright enough light on wall and floor, vs the lower 300 lumen large decorative bulbs sold elsewhere online or at HD. This one is 800 lumens! Only uses 8w of power for 100w of equivalent brightness. Only complaint was that upon delivery, the bulb's box was floating around in a larger Amazon box with zero cushioning, and bulb was jostled loose from its factory box's top foam brace piece inside. But bulb was not damaged at all, fortunately. That was the only glitch. But grab one of these cool bulbs for that special lighting need. Read more

Pictures don't do justice as to how beautiful this bulb is. It's arguably more of a decor piece. The compliments it received are endless. You know it's a very high quality bulb when you adjust the dim level and it doesn't flicker. Not once! Please don't be discouraged by reviews that state the bulb shattered. I can assure you it's not a manufacturer issue. YOU CANNOT PUT ANY BULB INTO ANY LIGHT FIXTURE! Before you add to your cart, there are two versions of the bulb: The 60watt and the 100watt. Be sure to pick the correct one. For example, If you select the 100watt bulb and insert it into into a light fixture that has a lower wattage capacity, you will create a potential fire hazard the moment you turn it on. Luckily the bulb exploding was the only thing that happened. For me, it's very relaxing and promotes good sleep. Don't hesitate to add this to your home. Read more
