Really, this is not a bad keyboard. There are just a couple things for noting here. First, backlight. It is super easy to include this, please do that. I know that there are other ones out there that have that feature, perhaps not at this price point, but after using my Macbook Pro going to this keyboard on my Mac Mini M4 is a huge difference. At night, I really miss having the slight glow of the backlighting in my peripheral. Second, is the cable. Please make it removable. Just put a USB-C on both ends so I can change out the power/data cable for a shorter one. My Mac Mini sits directly in front of this, and I didn't even have to take off the bread tie that held the cable together out of the box. That said, it is a huge bundle of cable in the front of my keyboard that is otherwise sleek and small. Just kind of annoying as there is no way to hide it without letting it dangle off the back of my desk and then come back up to the computer. Just doesn't make sense. Yes, I know this is not a wireless keyboard, like it would seem with a USB-C port in it, but not being able to change the cable was something I did not think about when I got this. Minor gripe, but still. Other than those two things, it is durable and made of aluminum, lightweight, matches the color of my Mac, functions well (does not have touch ID though) and really is a good keyboard. Feels better to type on it than my Macbook, but the lack of the backlight holds it back from being a GREAT keyboard. Compatible with my Mac perfectly, just plug and play. Read more

Perfect! This fit a 2011 iMac with perfect compatability. Had a brief moment of terror when the screen read "unable to recognize keyboard, please press key next to shift key on left side," but followed the instructions twice and it took me to a choice of 3 possibilities: Japanese, some otherworldly weirdness, and ANSI. It’s so inconvenient using a keyboard with a cable. Never thought it would be. Also it stopped working a couple of times and then next day it worked again. I still use it but thinking about getting a wireless one. Though nothing beats the price. Read more

I needed a new keyboard for my new Mac mini m4, my Windows keyboards are J U S T different enough to be irritating when I try to use them on a Mac. They work, but its just easier with one properly set up. It's rather compact, even with a numeric keypad. The typing experience is good, a decent amount of key travel on the keys, and they are silent. The cord is long enough to exit out the back of the keyboard drawer on my desk , go up around the back of the desk onto the desktop and into the back of the computer. This eliminates the biggest complaints i have with wired keyboards, short cords. EDIT: I would upgrade my typing experience from "Good" to "Very Good". I don't think this could be called an "Excellent" typing experience, but for a quite inexpensive keyboard, I can comfortably crank out a LOT of words. I think it's 5 stars once I factor in the price. END EDIT 2ND Edit: I ordered a Mac Mini for my wife, and immediately bought another of these keyboards for her new machine. These things work VERY well.
