I'm very impressed with this toothbrush. It is a sonic - vibrating - brush, which I don't think I fully realized when purchased since I doubt I read the full description. I was looking for an inexpensive brush to fill in for the rotating head brush misplaced during a recent move. This brush works very well. I've had a sonic brush some years ago (a lot more expensive one) which I wasn't impressed with, so I never replaced it. Now, I was missing a spot by manually brushing and was getting some buildup there. Using the sonic brush, I didn't think I had brushed well enough to clear that buildup, but it was gone after one brushing - I was amazed! The brush came with 8 extra brushes, a charger, and a carrying case for travel. The bristles are soft. The vibration has 3 levels to adjust for your comfort. I highly recommend this brush.
