My hygienist suggested teeth whitening during a recent cleaning, so I did a bit of research and found these Opalescence trays. I liked both the easy of application with trays and high hydrogen peroxide concentration. I can tolerate these in my mouth for the recommend time and I did not have any discomfort. I'm still using the provided whitening toothpaste. The change in tooth color was at least two shades lighter after following the treatment schedule. This product does a good job of whitening teeth. Occasionally, the small white tray that stays on your teeth will not pull away from the green application tray. This is a bit annoying. Yes I read the instructions multiple times and followed them completely. Also the toothpaste that comes with this bundle does not have any whitening properties. I'm sure it's good toothpaste, but it's a bit deceptive. Read more

This stuff is awesome. I’ll admit I saw it at my dentist’s office and then immediately looked it up on Amazon. I’ve tried “opalescence” 30% strength in the syringe from Amazon before, but I think it was either a fake or I didn’t use it right. These trays are idiot proof and you'll have a brighter smile after just a session. I should’ve taken before and afrer photos just to show my 4 days of progress, but you’ll just have to believe me. One thing I’ll note is that I misread the instructions and thought the time was 20 min per tray. This definitely burned my gums some and turned them white, but they recovered quickly and I didn’t have to stop my sessions. I may even keep pushing it to twenty now that my gums seem used to it and I’m seeing such dramatic results. Otherwise, you should stick to the ten min per tray per the manufacturer’s directions. It didn't do a thing, not even a little brightening. Very disappointing for this money. I had sensitivity without the results like many said here. I was wondering if this is the real product from the actual manufacturer and it looks like it is so I don't get why doesn't work at all. Read more
