The blue light blocking and transition lenses do work well. Transitions don't work in cars because they're activated by UV and windshields block UV. This is a problem with all transportation lenses. They are also extremely good at not fogging up. I was excited to use these on hikes and walks to protect my eyes for wind and dirt and not have to worry about taking off and on glasses. Unfortunately for me wearing them made me feel kinda dizzy and nauseous. I have some weird eye issues so I assume that was the cause but I wasn't able to wear them for very long. These are comfortable glasses, which is 1/2 the battle there, They're fashionable. I can see clearly through them from my chair to my TV when gaming as well as outside, & they do darken fairly quick, so I assume they're blocking those rays in question. I also think I'm feeling a significant difference in eye strain after using them for a long time, so that's BIG plus! I'm aware it wasn't part of the advertising but I do wish they had come with at least a little magnification for reading close up, or long periods at my computer., (hence the reason for the 4*'s & not 5*) Good glasses though.
