These are absolutely worthless for those with a bridge and other teeth to floss! I have been using this same brand for quite a few years and it is my understanding that this is the newly revised version. They are worthless! First, the pokey part is so thin that I had to work and try so hard to get it in, then the spongy floss part totally shreds and got caught in my molars. Then I had work to pick it out with a tweezers, which is another disaster. Then when I went to return them because they were not like the old version, they will not accept a return at all! Even though I was returning them the same day. I spent almost $38 and they won’t return a product that is not what I intended to purchase! Bad product, bad seller! DON’T BUY!!!!!! Read more

I’ve bought the old version of this threader floss for years and loved it. These have completely changed and are awful. It has a thin threader at both ends. The floss doesn’t go between teeth. I can get it down between my teeth, but not back up. The floss has changed, it compresses and it shreds. Read more

I have been using these for years and are perfect for my needs. The single pack ensures a sanitary floss each time as well as ease of use. I have tried many other products in the past, but most come in packaging with multiple, if not all of the individual floss lengths grouped together causing them to get tangled and a mess at some point. That's why I prefer these. Granted, one can use the nylon loop throughs with conventional floss for much cheaper, but I prefer the convenience of these. I usually purchase these at my local store but ended up buying these on Amazon for the following reasons. Be warned! It appears that the manufacturer has replaced this product with a new version that groups 6-lengths of floss per package. In other words, instead of being individually wrapped, there are now 6 strings wrapped in one card inside each of the 5 envelopes. Additionally, the floss is made of some type of fuzzy material and is no longer like traditional waxed/slippery fibers. The newer version has taken on the same product and bar codes. Read more

I have been purchasing 6 boxes of this Oral B glider floss every 6 months to help with a bridge and to get between a front tooth and a piece of metal that a previous dentist who clearly didn’t know what he was doing used to cement the bridge. It worked well and was necessary to remove food between the metal and my front tooth. This time I re-ordered as usual and instead of receiving the 6 boxes of single use floss that glided so well, I received a totally different product. I don’t know what this company was thinking as the floss is made of string which does not glide but unravels instead. It does come with a threader on each side but what good is that if the floss is unusable. I would caution anyone with bridges or braces from using this product as it could get stuck and do damage. I have been using this product for years and I couldn’t be more disappointed. Read more

I bought this product from this same listing two times in the past. Back then, Oral B was still manufacturing it as Glide Threader Floss, which was a flat ribbon-style floss with a flat stiff end attached. It worked beautifully with my built-in retainer and with the rest of my teeth. This time, I received a product that the seller noted to be in “new packaging, but same product”. However, it is not the same product. Oral B stopped manufacturing the product I got the first two times from this listing and replaced it with a new version. This new version has a thin green threader on both ends, and it is very floppy and harder to thread between teeth or under appliances. The floss itself is a much shorter in length - too short - and instead of being smooth, it has a rough, cottony texture that is extremely uncomfortable on my gums. It is incredibly difficult to get between tight teeth and it shreds easily, whether I am using it near a dental appliance or not, leaving irritating fibers between my teeth. I literally had to floss this floss from between my teeth with a better product. This is an extremely disappointing move by the manufacturer for changing the product and for this seller to incorrectly claim it is the same product in a different package when it clearly is not. In addition, the item is not returnable, so don’t buy it thinking it’s the same product because it’s not and you’ll waste $40 on threader floss that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. Read more
