This is a great brush. I have used this for 5 years and my dentist has been impressed with the results. I bought this as a second black brush for my travel case and use the toothbrush case that comes with the black and white double pack from another large warehouse member company. It is cheaper to buy the double pack. I just wanted a second black one and the wife has the white one and it works out well. As for the “modes” for brushing, I cannot figure out what the images mean in the instructions. I just use the 30 second sequence 4 times (upper teeth, bottom, front, back). That works well. I’m not sure if the faster speed mode is necessary. I’m sure there is a video that explains it somewhere. This will definitely help you avoid root canal work or worse. My other models had a huge red light for too much pressure and it plays the happy blinking routine but you don’t need either. Read more
I like the soft bristles and different speeds. The only thing I wish was flatter is the angle of the head is a little wide to reach my back teeth. It is nice and sturdy. I’m glad I got this vs the other models. I reviewed them all and didn’t think the extra cost was necessary. Read more

Bought this toothbrush on my dentist's recommendation. As the tile says, I feel the difference right away. The brush seems to be very thorough on the teeth and gives a nice tingling feeling when done. It glides smoothly on the surface of the teeth so no pain. One will probably need to get used to the sensation especially if one has been using a regular brush but you will get used to it. I still have not figured out how to stop the brush after the required two minutes so I will have to experiment. The charge lasts a good long time - for weeks on end - the initial charge is about nine hours out of the box. The brush has a sturdy hard plastic handle and the unit is completely waterproof so have no fear of rinsing it out thoroughly after each use. The unit does not come with a case or protective covers for the brush head so please read my reviews for these add-on products. Oral B should have provided these items, at least brush covers but it si what it is. So I am satisfied so far - I hope my dentist will be too! Read more
Oral-B as a company was solid, my wife bought this toothbrush and the brush wouldn’t take a charge from the base charger. She hadn’t discovered the flaw until after the return window had expired so I contacted Oral-B directly and they emailed me a label and requested that we send the entire unit back and if I’m not mistaken I believe that even prior to us getting our unit dropped off at UPS they already had a new unit in route to us and we received it within 3-5 days of submitting a ticket to Oral-B. As far as the tooth brush goes my wife uses it and she says she likes it which she has had a lot of electric tooth brushed so if she likes it then it must be good for her. Read more

I would not buy this product again. While it has several issues I could overlook, one major problem makes it unusable for me. The vibration of this brush feels “off” in a way that makes me dizzy and gives me a headache every time I use it, and I’m not someone who normally gets headaches. I actually dread brushing my teeth with it, and at this point I’ll probably just accept the $60 loss and purchase something else. The strange part is that the brush isn’t loud and the vibration doesn’t feel particularly strong, yet something about the way it operates gives me headaches even on the lowest setting. There are also other issues that add to my frustration. The brush head doesn’t come with a cover, yet the instructions recommend removing it after each use to clean and dry it. That means it has to sit uncovered on its side, which isn’t ideal for keeping it clean. The timer is also odd. It gives the standard 30‑second alerts for a 2‑minute brushing cycle, but it doesn’t turn off at the end. It just keeps running and continues the 30‑second pulses. To power it down, you have to click through every mode, there’s no simple one‑button off option, unless I am missing instructions. Another strange issue is that while my teeth feel polished after use, my mouth as a whole doesn’t feel clean. I’ve used the same toothpaste for years and have never had this bad taste in my mouth after brushing. It’s disgusting and it’s super frustrating. Overall, I cannot recommend this product.
