Pretty good matcha, especially for the price! I have tried many matcha’s now, so have become a bit picky. This one is a great price compared to others of similar quality. It has a nice vibrant green color and has a nice mild taste, it doesn’t taste too grassy like some I’ve tried. It does tend to clump easier than some, you just need to make sure you whisk it well before adding milk. Overall, it tastes good, has a pretty color, and is a great price! I will purchase again! I enjoy matcha every day, often a few times a day, so my "habit" can get a little pricey. I am not an iced latte drinker, so my matcha has to actually pass the test prepared in the traditional manner. This matcha fits the bill for quality, taste, color, freshness, and cost per serving. I know about and love all the benefits of matcha, but if it doesn't taste good, you're not going to drink it. Frankly, all those expensive sugar bomb, high fat creamy fru-fru drinks are a waste of good matcha, and cancel out all the benefits while hiding the matcha with all that fat and sugar. I don't care how "cute" some influencers think they are. So my matcha has to taste good on it's own. As you can see from my photo it makes a lovely bowl of usucha, and has a nice crema when prepared with the traditional bamboo whisk. The resulting tea tastes fresh, smooth, creamy, and vegetal with no bitterness or astringency. Does not have the seaweed taste or smell of some matchas. Very clean aftertaste and NOT chalky. The chalkiness some have is a deal breaker for me. This has none. All in all a nice daily drinker. No sharp edges or bold flavors, just a nice mellow tea perfect for when you just want a good cup of matcha. I was a little hesitant, considering this brand is viral everywhere and sometimes I feel like influencers milk things to get money however, this is truly such an amazing Matcha. The taste, quality, color, blend is all quite phenomenal. The value for this Matcha is truly a gift and I hope they never increase the price because I will be a buyer forever as long as the price stays somewhat the same. I usually have about a scoop to a scoop and a half every other morning with unsweetened vanilla oat milk and I feel perfectly energized throughout the day. Read more

It clumps, doesn’t blend well at all. Drinking Chunks of matcha tea even after using a hand held milk frother. And mixing for minutes. The taste is okay. I’ll just go back to my usual matcha ceremonial grade tea. I don’t recommend this brand for straight up drinking. Mixing it within a smoothie or something, might be different outcome. Read more

This matcha was ok. It definitely wasn't what I'm used to compared to the Ceremonial Grade I usually buy. My biggest complaint was the clumping and the fact it didn't disperse very well. I normally make matcha lemonades, and shaking with ice is enough to mix my preferred brand. This one left nasty clumps that were so bad they got stuck in my teeth!
