This is a great product! I can make my favorite drink at home without the cost of the big coffee chains. If you use more than 2 level scoops of the matcha it is pretty sweet, but 2 level scoops is perfect for a hot cup of matcha. Read more

I was attracted to the price per oz of this product and thought that I might even want to stock up on this. BUT.....after drinking about 5 cups of this within couple of days, I've found that it is overly sweet and have begun contemplating returning it or giving it away. Perhaps this may be the main reason why it is price so much lower than all the other matcha products available. I have also wondered if there's more stevia powder than actual matcha in this product. Will not buy it again. Read more

I usually only get regular matcha to make a concoction, in my coffee, of a bunch of health stuff, in the mornings. this has worked out great until I tried this and it changed everything. (I don't mean that to sound fake, lol) For one, I think that it was ground so fine helped. And I didn't didn't know it was going to taste very sweet and put in my coffee flavored syrup too and it was way too sweet til I realized and fixed. I did put some on my finger to taste and it is pretty sweet with the allulose and stevia (don't get upset if you don't like stevia, its mainly the allulose you taste I think). I have tried so hard to get back off of sucralose, and since I am unable to do everything from scratch, it is in most products that a person on limited energy and fragile blood sugars has to go to. I don't know why. I prefer stevia any day as it doesn't have the side effects. Anyway, it was nice that this didn't have it. For that reason tho, I think thats why there were so many carbs in this? Not everyone has to be careful, and I am not doing keto or anything- but close because its about the only thing my blood sugars can handle. I put a little extra in my pump for it tho, and all was well. It has 8 g of carbs per 2 tiny scoops. Not a deal breaker. I amazed at being able to get a 2 lb bag!! This was another thing that made it worth it for me. I will say, for purposes of the review, and I just wanted to know and try, I found (my son found for me) a recipe for a sugar free matcha latte. I substituted what I had on hand, very close to recipe, and it was pretty much a fail for me. I never do well following recipes for things like that tho. If you already have your own way of doing it, I am sure this will be great. I'm fine with my morning concoction tho. I wasn't trying to do anything traditional or ceremonial at this time, so this, without the bells and whistles of being ceremonial, was great for me, other than having to be careful and not do it every day. 5 stars. If it can get people off of sugar and sucralose (things are not gonna taste the same, but once those 2 things are out of your system, things taste a lot better), than its a big win. I am happy, and am grateful I got the chance to try it. (i see, for black Friday deals, its a steal for a 2 lb bag!! Get it!!) Read more
