Not good by itself. Too bitter and astringent. But great in latte. Actually better than the expensive stuff. I use both oat and whole milk, not at the same time, and it holds up to both. I bought this for bulk to practice making my own and it really helped me learn what I like. Read more

Made in America” — what a great American product.
I found this to be a terrible product. First of all, the color is a pale green, which doesn’t reflect the purity expected from a high-quality matcha tea. Secondly, as is often the case with the U.S. food industry, their labels claim the product is “organic” and “made in the USA,” but I made a big mistake believing that. This is not real matcha tea — it’s more like a green-colored laxative falsely advertised as matcha. Sadly, everything made in this country seems to be designed just to keep people sitting on the toilet most of the time, rather than delivering what it promises. I’ve tried matchas from other brands, especially from Japan, and I’ve never experienced having to rush to the bathroom immediately after drinking one.
