These babies are seriously next level, like nothing I’ve ever had. I had been using the same pack of 6 Turkish hand towels for the last maybe 10 years. They served us well, took up very little space, washed well and performed the way they should. However, over the years they gathered some stains, were no longer as bright and just needed to be rotated out. As I set out on a quest to find new kitchen towels, these caught my eye. They say they’re Turkish but I could tell just from the photos that they weren’t like the ones I’d had. These were much more plush. They’re like hugging a teddy bear. And the colors are so happy and vibrant. I got two versions of the multicolored ones and one black & white. My home is a new build and has tons of gray and white & I was looking for ways to add fun pops of color to keep it from looking too sterile so I was thrilled with these color options. When I first washed them, I added vinegar as is recommended and they laundered beautifully with minimal lint left in the dryer. They’re absorbent and dry my dishes well, they’re generously sized, the stitching is solidly done and the knots at the ends seem to be hand tied and sturdy, not sloppy or falling out as can be the case with some others. I would buy a whole set of bath sized towels if they were offered in white. I hope someday white will be an option as I have white linens in all of my bathrooms. But really, to anyone on the fence about these, don’t be. I can be very nit picky about things but there isn’t one negative thing I can find about these. I recently re-decorated a bathroom with a black and white palette, and didn’t realize how hard it is to find good b/w towels. I was skeptical but order this anyway, as it was the exact look that I was going for in a room with reclaimed farmhouse ceiling. It arrived today, and wow. This is a large, beautiful, soft, fluffy organic cotton towel. It looks amazing in the bathroom. The receipt from the seller was hand-written with helpful washing tips, and personalized. I love my multi colored bathroom hand towel----as promised, it got softer and even more absorbent upon washing....I have already washed it twice. It is nice and big, and the colors do not fade. It’s too big for where I intended to use it. Far bigger than a standard size hand towel. That being said - it’s still one of my favorite towels. I love the texture/hand feel. I love the little tassels. It just hangs so long that it hits the countertop in my specific bathroom. Go for it and buy it - it’s great! Just make sure you have space for a bigger sized towel. I love these Turkish towels! Not the softest, or most absorbent, but washing in vinegar does help. I love the looks of these towels, and also the larger size. I really don’t care about the other features. They look great hanging in my kitchen and bathroom! Read more
