I have an older case that doesn't offer USB C or USB 3.0. This works great to adapt an old case with new hardware. The other plus is it sits nicely on the desk and you don't have to reach around the back of your pc to get to your USB ports. I use it with an NVME enclose and never had an disconnect issues or slow speeds. Read more

It works well. Would be nice to have two more USB ports but tried others and they all are cheap and fail rather quickly to be stable. Read more
Was everything I expected of this type of device. If you are expecting to use power hungry devices that could or will overload your ports, this hub has a usb c power input. Was Read more
I am very happy with this hub as I have been with other Orico devices that I have purchased. Read more
So far, it is doing what it's supposed to be doing. The zinc plating is attractive, and I do like the blue LED glow--this obviously will be subjective. Read more
Others have commented on good features...for me I needed head dissipation. One device is a high draw, constant on, which caused other hubs to overheat and stop working within 6 months. Running this ORICO hub, it does not get warm at all, so really good heat dissipation meeting my needs. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This is a very versatile USB Hub. I like the fact that it has both 2 USB-A ports and 2 USB-C ports so you will be able to hook up devices using either port type without the need for an adapter. In my testing, I got fast speeds and reliable data transfers. As a test, I copied about 200 GB of data in one big transfer from my PC to an SSD attached to this hub and I had no hiccups or problems whatsoever. There was one disappointment: When I first connected the hub to my PC, my PC simply would not see the hub at all. I wondered if the problem might be as simple as a bad cable so I detached the provided cable and used one of my own. With my cable, the hub worked fine. So it would appear that I received a bad cable right out of the box. Thankfully, the cable is an easily replaceable part and I had no issues with the hub itself. Since this is a powered USB hub, I wanted to try a test without connecting power. Many powered USB hubs will still work fine without power connected for low power devices like thumb drives and I wanted to see if that was the case with this unit. I was happy to see that it did indeed work fine, which can be useful with a laptop. I assume that this is also the reason why a power adapter is not included in the package. IMPORTANT: You can use any standard USB-C charger to power this hub but it must meet these criteria: 1) The charger must be able to output 5V. If you have a charger that outputs only one voltage and that is not 5V, such as 12V, that charger will not work. 2) The charger must be capable of supplying a minimum of 2A of current at 5V. I think that this hub also looks sharp. The clear case is eye catching, even when not connected to the computer. But when connected, there is a blue LED that provides an additional element of "cool" to this hub (see photos). The design is also very small and compact and when combined with the fact that the USB cable is detachable makes for a tiny package that can easily be carried with a laptop computer. My conclusion is that this is a very good hub, even if I did have a bad cable out of the box. I am rating it 4 stars only because I had a defective cable, but I suspect that is likely uncommon. If not for that one minor issue I would easily consider this a 5 star product. Read more
