Works well, I mounted it to the bottom of my monitor. Now, I cannot lose my sd card reader. And its easily accessible. But also gives me a usba and usbc ports. It does feel a little slow for usb3.0 but could be that I'm running though a kvm. Read more

I bought this because I had it mixed up with another brand that I have found to make other quality electronic devices in the past, that brand also has an ORI in its name but their logo is different. I didn't realize this until I started to write this review because the quality of this product seemed similar to the other company. I may start looking into this companies other offerings. This hub looks very nice and has a decent heft to it from a fair amount of aluminum in its frame. It just barely didn't fit on a 1 3/16 inch dresser board, it could easily fit any surface 1 inch thick or smaller. It's basically a c clamp with a swivel rubber padded piece on the screw and rubber on the clamping part of the mount. With minimal care this adapter should not damage what it is clamped to. The clamping screw is knurled nicely and has a philips head for the final snug if needed. The rear has the USB C port for connecting a computer and another USB C port for a 5v power supply which would only be needed if you were using it with devices that needed more power then the PC port could deliver such as maybe an un powered external hard drive. I did plug a charger to it and it did charge my phone from a front port, I believe it only works with 5v supplies. The front has 1 USB C port 2 blue USB A ports to indicate USB 3, a standard SD card slot and a micro SD card slot. There is a blue light on the front that illuminates when connected to a device or 5v power supply. It is CE rated and comes with a substantial aprox 3ft USB C to C/A cord. I really like how the cord comes with a built in USB A adapter that hangs out of the way when not needed. I tested the cord with my phone and it would turbo charge my phone which is good because it is picky about cords. I tested this hub with a USB C ethernet adapter plugged into the front of the hub on an Asus Chrome book, a 2024 Moto G Power, a Samsung smart phone, a Lenovo laptop, and a Nintendo Switch and it worked with all of them so it seems pretty universal. I also tested some 4k drone videos on a micro SD card with my Moto G Power and Hisense TV. The TV played them with no problems while my phone seemed to glitch some with the videos. The phone did recognize it as a USB 3 device. I would recommend this hub to some one looking for something nice looking and functional for everyday use. Read more
