We live in Texas, so this isn’t something we’d normally need until maybe February — but my husband works in Chicago often, and we travel with him. When we spent the week before the New Year there, I had to find something that would keep my 7-month-old warm without putting him in a bulky, unsafe coat while he was in his car seat. I was honestly nervous ordering this because the first version I tried was a total miss… but this one ended up being perfect. It kept my little guy warm and cozy without overheating him, which is huge because he runs hot (just like his mama). It also works really well with the Doona stroller, which made traveling through the airport and getting in and out of the car so much easier. No bulky layers, no fuss — just zip, go, and baby stays warm. It gave us the right amount of insulation for cold Chicago weather while still being safe and comfortable in the car seat.
