I was able to process almost my entire deer using a single blade, which honestly surprised me. From field dressing to skinning, trimming, and prepping all the meat for grinding, I only ended up using two blades total out of the interchangeable set. The blades are surgically sharp and stay that way far longer than expected. The efficiency is what really sold me. There’s no time wasted stopping to sharpen, which makes a huge difference when you’re working through a full deer. Being able to swap in a fresh razor-sharp blade in seconds is a game changer. The knife itself is extremely well designed. The grip is solid and comfortable, even during long processing sessions. The blades lock in securely and feel very sturdy once installed—there’s no looseness or flex. I also really appreciate the bright orange handle, which makes it much harder to lose in the field or on the processing table. I liked this system so much that I bought another set. I believe my first one may have been a gift the year before and included the longer fillet blades, but I picked up the 3.5-inch version specifically for deer, and it’s perfect for that application. Between the sharpness, efficiency, durability, and price, this knife checks every box for me. I’m extremely satisfied and will continue using Outdoor Edge knives for all of my deer processing moving forward. There is a bit of a nook and cranny to clean behind the blade that inevitably collects gunk that needs to be cleaned, but its expected, and I do not really see that as a "con" or reduce stars. Its inevitable. Highly recommended Read more

I bought the 3.5" RazorLite EDC Knife in November 2023. I really like the convenience of swapping blades when you are in the field and need a sharp edge. I also like the fact that this knife is light weight, has a good grip, and the belt clip make and thumb studs make it easily accessible with one hand. It's now November 2025. About a month ago, I was using this knife to cut some twig-size branches off of a small tree and the blade came out. I assumed I had accidentally pushed the release, put the blade back in, and continued what I was doing. The blade started coming out again and again. It was definitely not user error and was getting worse. I searched online and found out that other folks had this same problem. One of them suggested contacting Outdoor Edge, which I did. I'm happy to say that they did not hesitate to send me a brand new knife at no cost. I received the replacement in the mail today. It even came with 6 blades. With all of the "disposable" items and false warranties for sale these days, it's really nice to do business with a company that truly stands behind their products. Read more

This is probably my 5th Outdoor edge knife. I like that you can just swap the blade. It's very easy to do and the blades and other knives can be found just about anywhere knives are sold. They work great for EDC, once you dull them swap the blade in a few seconds and keep going. I use mine for cleaning animals while hunting as well. You don't have to stop in the middle of cleaning your game to grab your sharpening stone. Just switch out the blade and you're ready. I'm not sure about most of you guys, but I find it difficult to put an edge on a blade that is razor sharp as these blades are. It takes time, patience, and practice to get your knife sharpening skills to get a knife this sharp and without damaing an expensive knife. This is the way to go in my opinion, unless you just enjoy sharpeing blades. The knives are built fairly well. They rubber on the handle will discolor after awhile if you leave it in the sun to often, although it doesn't keep it from performing. I know at one time, some of the knives had a plastic clip for cliping to your pocket, belt, or whatever. I've broke a few of those. All the ones I have recieved now are metal clips. I have not broken one of those, but I have bent them by catching them on door frames, car doors, box blinds, etc. I have not been able to bend them back into place once they are bent to the point they are secure in my pocket any longer. Now they do have screws holding them on, so in theory you could take it off and probably bend it back. The knives are cheap enough, I just by another one and throw the one i bent into a tackle box or backup knive in my truck. If you don't enjoy sharpening knives, and enjoy an extremly sharp blade then these are the way to go. I do caution you, they are VERY sharp!! Read more

This knife is INCREDIBLY sharp! Seriously be careful. I shaved a patch of hair off my arm just to see how sharp it was, and it shaved the hair off with one quick swipe. I love that it comes w/ replacement blades as well. It feels comfortable in your hand, has a nice grip, doesnt feel cheap or flimsy, not too light or too heavy, perfect size, has a pocket clip, and is easy to open & close. Im really happy with it so far. Havent been using it long though, so not sure how long the blades hold up before they begin to dull. But so far so good 👍 Read more
