OXO does it again! My old box grater was a space thief, difficult to clean and took forever to drain/dry. I only ever used the coarse side, so it really wasn’t earning its keep. Enter this beauty…it’s sharp and grates carrots, celery, hard cheese and dry bread crumbs with nearly zero effort/pressure. I’ve only had it for a day, but I’ve given it a workout. It also stores easily in a drawer, but I may end up keeping it in a utensil crock on my counter as the cover is quite secure. This grater from OXO is great. Shreds semi soft cheeses like Tillamook Sharp, Pepperjack, and Cabot cheeses easily. I wish we had purchase this years ago. It is easy to clean and stores nicely for us. We typically shred cheese to put on top of chili or on a tortilla. Heating the tortilla once the cheese is on top works great. Bought this to replace an older cheese grater that flexed while using and eventually broke. The OXO cheese grater is extremely sturdy. The grated cheese is just the right size (coarse but not too large).
