So easy! 5 min end to end cooking time including toasting English muffin. Omg I love it! Should have bought a long time ago. Quick breakfast and way cheaper than eating out !!! Just put a large egg in it, add a little half and half take fork and break egg apart for a second , add a little salt and cook for 52 sec. I toasted an English muffin, had a slice of jimmy Dean toasted sausage pre-cooked and added a slice of cheese. So easy!! Great for early morning risers. Super fast to clean egg holder. Nothing sticks when you clean it. Just run under hot water. Way easier than egg sandwich makers and way less expensive. !! So many options on how to make other egg sandwiches. Read more

Every now and then you buy something that works as well as you'd hoped. For me, this OXO egg cooker was just that. Breakfast goes like this: Put 2 frozen has brown patties on a plate and microwave 1 min 15 seconds. Remove from microwave. Put two eggs in the Oxo egg cooker and microwave 1 min. Open the cooker lid and place a slice of cheese on top and microwave for 15 seconds more. Pop the bottom off the cooker and slide eggs and cheese on to hash browns. Salt and pepper ... and we're done. Simple. Fast. Good. Read more

My quest for the perfect breakfast sandwich shortcut has finally reached its conclusion. For months, I battled the tyranny of frozen breakfast options, determined to reclaim my mornings and nourish my body with real food. My DIY solution – a cereal bowl, a pat of butter, and a scramble of eggs, pre-cooked and crushed bacon pieces, chives, and cheese – was getting there, but had a fundamental weakness -- The few appropriate bowls I own were prone to sticking even with butter first, or so large in diameter that a single egg transformed into a sad frisbee. While these bowls suited cereal, they proved comically oversized for a single sandwich. This ingenious little breakfast sandwich maker was the missing link. I experimented with other brands of this same idea, only to find them either too petite for a bagel or too cavernous for an English muffin. This one, however, strikes the Goldilocks zone – perfectly sized for both. It's a breeze to clean (pops apart easily), and it cooks like a dream. The included heating guide printed right on the packaging will get you close. In my case 2 large eggs with chives and bacon pieces takes 1:50 in the microwave. The lid snaps on and off effortlessly, and the plastic feels durable enough to withstand countless breakfast creations. I'll spare you the groan and resist calling this a "morning game-changer", but you know, it might be. If you, like me, crave a delicious, homemade breakfast sandwich without the fuss, look no further. This is the one. Read more

I browsed through all the reviews prior to purchasing. I like to read the good and the bad so that I can make my own mind up. One video I watched showed how the person thought the red portion would wear out over time by snapping and unsnapping. I decided to order one and got it. I instantly noticed that the red bottom didn't truly SNAP into place like his video showed. I washed the item under room temp water to make sure it was clean. I initially put two scrambled eggs in and my older microwave. I had to set it for three instances of 45 seconds each (again, my Mic is old). The eggs were still a bit runny, so I unsnapped the red plate (it almost too easily came off), and put the eggs on my stone plate to finish cooking. I noticed then that there was egg residue between the seems. Figured the red plate must have warped due to the mic usage. I didn't want to let the item go for 60-90+ seconds for fear of melting it, etc. I really got this item to take to work so that I could have better breakfast's. Their microwaves are new and high power. I put in a single egg and 45 second cook time. The egg was still a bit runny, but was popping. I put it back in for 15 secs, and it was done. Again, the bottom would nearly fall off. I made sure I didn't pick up the item just by the top white part for fear of the red plate and contents would fall onto the floor. All-in-all, this may work for some, but it does not really work for me. I'll go try the 2-for-$6 version where the plate doesn't come off for cleaning / food transfer. The plastic is very thick, so I was hoping this item would last for a long time. UPDATE: Day 3 .. Ok, so I know my home mic is OLD and low power. The one I used at work was new, but medium power. I tried this item on our work 1500W and my egg was done in 40 seconds! I didn't have to flip it and reheat, and the plastic wasn't hot to the touch. So the caveat for a perfect egg with this particular item and your outcome has to do with your microwave and its power level. Now I know which microwave I can use at work and be happy with my breakfast! Read more

Cooks scrambled eggs perfectly. I make egg and bagel sandwiches with this and the size just right. I use two eggs so I microwave them with the lid open since they balloon up a lot. Probably not an issue if you're just using one egg. Read more

I love this little microwave egg bowl!! I was spending too much money and time in the drive thru on my way to work each morning. I wanted to cut back on my bread intake while still getting full. I spent 2 days worth of "drive thru" breakfast money on eggs and pre cooked sausage, butter spray and disposable salt and pepper. It takes 5 minutes to cook an omelet with sausage... and I'm full till lunch and sometimes even dinner. Super easy to clean, if you use the spray- it just wipes clean. I use this one at work, thinking of getting another for quick eggs at home. CAN'T TELL THEY ARE MICROWAVED EGGS!! Read more
