P2P Nails Vegan Nail Gel Polish - Natural Shine Scratch Free Gel Polish - Quick Dry Nail Polish

As at least one other reviewer has pointed out, the product information here on Amazon includes several references to this product as a gel polish. It's even in the product title. And yet, the instructions for use on the back of the bottle tell me to let it air dry. This polish looks and behaves like a regular nail polish, so that's how I used it, watching a movie while waiting for my nails to dry (which was pretty fast, actually). But the confusion is annoying. Anyway, this color is gorgeous! I don't usually choose particularly feminine or girly colors, but I love this one. And it really is so girly! It is a soft, powdery pink that reminds me of innocence, as dorky as that might sound. 'Genteel' isn't a word I use very often, either, but it's another one that comes to mind when I try to describe this color. It is a soft, dusty pink shade, much warmer than a nude, but it doesn't draw a lot of attention to your hands. I am surprised at how much I love it. The polish goes on rather sheer and the application is smooth. I think I'll be wearing this shade quite a bit. I wasn't familiar with this brand until recently, but I have tried three different colors from the same line. This is definitely my favorite. The weird thing is that the other two say they are 'regular nail polish' colors, while this one has the gel confusion. They are all packaged the same way, and they all say "air dry". P2P Nails says they're a cruelty-free company, and I definitely like that. Unfortunately, they misspell "cruelty" and they aren't certified by Leaping Bunny or PETA or any other animal welfare organization, so I am taking that claim with a grain of salt. Aside from that, I can say that this is a really beautiful nail color and a polish that performs well, and I know I'll be wearing it on my nails quite a bit for the foreseeable future. The product information is confusing. It states “This gel polish can be applied to your nails without a base coat or top coat and quickly dry under LED light for 30 seconds or UV light for 2 minutes.“ Well, the back of this polish says to air dry. And it dries relatively quickly without UV light. Because the instructions say to air dry, I did not try it with a UV lamp. With cleaning and house hold chores the polish stayed on for about five days before starting to chip at the tips. This is pretty standard no matter the price point for me. I haven't found any polish that can stand up for more than a few days while washing dishes and cleaning all day. It's something I dont really mind as it gives me a weekly excuse to take some me-time and just relax while painting my nails. This Neutral Vibes color is a really pretty shade. This is not gel polish! They have nail gel and nail lacquer that I'm assuming is the same thing with different names. It does have a very low odor, almost like the smell of interior wall paint. The polish seemed to cover my nail swatch ok with one coat. The drying tim seemed pretty quick. The color is nice, but it don't think the polish lives up to the description. Read more

This nail polish goes on smooth and dries to a nice flat shine. It doesn’t take too long to dry but isn’t extremely fast drying either that when you apply and try to finish it comes out bumpy. I have tried a number of polishes, polygel, and acrylic nail polishes, and these gel paints are in my favorite nail polish category. Quite long lasting even after dish washing multiple times, with no issues with chipping and color stays strong. Read more

This is a beautiful gel polish that has beautiful finish. Very nicely pigmented and goes on so smoothly! The colors are lovely and gave me a really nice coverage with just two thin coats. The neutral vibes color is a beautiful sophisticated color that looks great on my nails. I also appreciate that these are a cruelty free product. Dried quickly and worked great with base coat even though it is not necessary. Read more

I got this brand of nail polish mostly because it's vegan and I love the funny names. This polish is very natural looking but only lasts about 5 days per application (with normal daily wear and tear). I only wear polish occasionally and this is one that I reach for when I do. I don't experience any streaking with this color. My nails look so beachy and yet can be professional. "Resting Peach Face" was on the sheer side and very pale. Love this color! Just a pretty neutral polish. Polish goes on smooth with a good consistency. Vegan and cruelty free make this a great polish choice and one that I will be wearing often! Read more

I got the color Pink Salt. It’s a very light color, so it took a few layers to make it not streaky. It does dry very quickly, which is nice, since you don’t have to wait forever between layers. I did find that it started chipping pretty quickly with a top coat but no base coat. Read more
