I’m always on the hunt for shaving cream, having experimented with brush soaps, brushless creams, and slick,lotions. This has the consistency a bit looser than toothpaste and does not foam when agitated. It does provide excellent hydration and softening after rubbing it into the beard, facilitating a smooth shave. The only improve the is to make it more thick, akin to the British brushless creams but for the many it is an excellent product. We have many allergies and sensitivities in our house, so scent during use and lingering after use are as important as comfortable shave. The scent in Pacific Shaving cream is citrusy in use but washes off completely. The cream is very lubricating and slippery even after going over an area twice or three times. The second choice Andalou is identical in comfort and closeness. The scent is subtle and also washes away completely. Neutrogena was my go to, is unavailable now, but I would have replaced with either of the first two as it isn’t as close a shave and the scent lingers. I will NEVER buy Vanicream again. The shave is similar to the first two, but the scent makes me gag so much that I want to vomit. And I have changed many diapers and cleaned up lots of vomit without any issues! Read more

I have been looking for all natural (or as close to it) products to replace all of my daily use items as part of my self care routine during lockdown and came across Pacific Shaving Company's Natural Shave Cream. Now I have tried a LOT of natural shave & deodorant products over the years and a lot of them simply don't work well. Friends, this one WORKS! My legs are silky smooth every time I shave and it's wonderful. The one caveat is that my husband has tried it a few times and said that it's "too slippery" for him to shave with. It is a bit on the thin side as far as shave creams go but it works great for me. It has a light citrusy scent so despite the "manly" packaging, it won't make you smell like aftershave. The price point is amazing too, compared to similar natural shave creams (in the $20+ range). Read more

I'll be honest, this stuff is awesome. Feels WAY better and works using WAY less than conventional shaving cream. I think this one tube will last me like 2 years or more, that's no joke. I only have to use a tiny little dollop at a time. It smells great, washes off clean, very easily, and leaves my skin moist, and silky smooth. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS STUFF!!! Read more

The scent is light and citrus and divine! I'm very sensitive to fragrances and artificial scents. This one is delicious and not overpowering. It also takes only a small bit to work up a good lather and makes for a smooth shave. This container will last a long time.
