My new favorite dish soap! I was finding that I was using more and more of another brand and going through it rather quickly. And as most people, money is tight. So I want to make sure that I am getting a good value and a good product. I remember back when I was young my parents would use Palmolive. So - I figured for the price I would give this a try! It came packaged well (the lid was taped down) and I filled up my dispenser and was surprised on how well this cleaned my dishes. I had the Ultra before and liked it but this one seemed to be even better. You can't beat an Original I guess. This one bottle has lasted me MONTHS. A+ product. This is the only liquid dishwashing detergent our family households use. Cuts grease. Does a great job. Smells good. Gentle on our hands. Would definitely recommend this product to others. This nice, big size is especially good since I can refill empty smaller bottles all at once and then wash and toss the larger bottle. Saves on plastic overall. I just store all of the used, clean bottles under the sink until I have enough to refill them all at once. Read more

This Palmolive Liquid is the only dishwashing liquid allowed in our house by direct orders from the Better Half. She will use no other liquid as she has done most of her young life and will not entertain any other product advertised on TV and Internet as the "best." Frying pans and cooking pots and utensils come clean quickly and easily and that is great as she insists on doing the dishwashing chore and I get to dry, and that is OK by me! Read more
Updating the rating with this review. The wife opened it today and said the "Fragrance" made her have a head ached and upset stomach. Sure enough it has fragrance. I see others like it. I asked what it was, just chemicals to give it, it's "green scent" (the ai ? now assembles data?). - So, be aware, if even used it previously. Fortunately, I can just use it in the garage for car washing and etc. - that will last a while. Otherwise I'd have to leave my 4-star rating stand, and great price point - washing well. But I had to admit to her, yes indeed, wow, it's a bit much - but outside vs in a working kitchen stuck at the sink, workable. Also, since opened, unsealed, not worth the return hassle. But, really - why put "Fragrance" perfume in it at all? How may things during out day needs a scent to mix with? So, in today's, less is more, "green", echo-sensitive world - just leave it out I say! The last dish soap I used left grease all over the dishes and didn't work very well. That was Ajax. i will never buy Ajax again. Palmolive has me pleasantly surprised. Blows Ajax out of the water. Degreases almost instantly, and smells good. I bought 2 90 oz. bottles for a great price here, under 7 bucks a pop, Wal mart is two to three times more expensive. A++A+A+A+A+A+ Read more
