We have owned this rice cooker for a little over five months and a couple of days ago it just stopped working. We tried trouble shooting it but nothing worked. When it was operational it worked very well but that did not last very long at all. Read more

I used it regularly to cook brown rice for around 40 -50 people for about 3 weeks. Sadly I tripped on snowy stairs and dropped it on concrete walk and it bent and broke. It was an expensive item that I cant replace. Read more

The Commercial Rice Cooker by PANTIN, is a great way to make a lot of rice or just a little, that’s easy and the rice comes out so good. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and a few things to consider before buying. I. Quality – It’s not the best quality and not even what I would consider commercial quality, but it’s still pretty good for a home cooker. So far everything works great and the level of quality doesn’t affect anything. I’d put the quality in the upper-middle level of the quality scale for a rice cooker and guess it should hold up for a long time. II. Performance – This thing is huge for home use with the capability to make a lot of rice at once. It’s really nice not to have to try to max out the normal size cooker and still fall short in the needed amount. It’s also great to make a big batch and have leftovers ready for next time. I found it very easy to use. You simple just add the right amount of rice and water and turn it on, when it’s done, it automatically turns off and continues to keep it warm until you turn it off. The cleanup is pretty standard for this type of machine and fairly easy. Overall, this has been a great addition to the kitchen making life so much easier when it comes to rice time. This is a must have if you make rice often. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision. Read more

Ok, lesson learned. Fully read the title before ordering anything on Amazon. My wife wanted a rice cooker. I found this one and ordered it. I didn't realize when ordering that it was commercial size! This thing is bigger than our crock pot! It can cook small amounts of rice, but it's really not meant for that. This is made more for a restaurant or food truck. It says it cooks 35 cups of uncooked rice. Not sure how much that is? Well, a 5 pound bag of rice is roughly 12 cups uncooked. So this thing can cook 15 pounds of uncooked rice. Perfect for a restaurant, not so much for a family of four. As far as the cooker goes, it works great. There is a switch on the front to set to cook or warm. When the rice is done cooking it actually switches to the warm setting to keep it warm and ready for serving. Beware though, it stays on the warm setting until you unplug it. It would be convenient if there was an on/off button, but I guess in a restaurant setting you would probably not need it. Read more

This rice cooker is almost unbelievable! It is HUGE with a capacity to cook 70 cups of rice at one time! Clearly, this is unsuitable for home use, unless your home houses an entire tribe. My wife is from China, where rice is eaten with every meal. She goes through a rice cooker about once every 4 years. This time I decided to try a more robust rice cooker for her. Not exactly what I imagined. It DOES cook rice, and it does a great job. Any Asian food restaurant would love to have this rice cooker, no doubt. Made of stainless steel, this rice cooker definitely produces well cooked rice. Better, it is easy to clean! Stainless steel resists rusting. This rice cooker will last for many years because of its heavy duty construction. It comes with a coating that is not only easy to clean, rice doesn't stick to it! That makes a huge difference during cleanup. The rice cooker comes with measuring cups, a big rice spoon, and a non-stick silicon pad that goes in the bottom of the cooker. For a restaurant, this is an excellent tool to have! Read more
