For decades we purchased the season variety blender that you can pick up from Costco or Amazon for $69.99 or less and invariably within a year or so, the motor starts to choke after struggling to tear through ice and other solid items. So this time I set out to purchase a Vitamix when I stumbled upon this blender which was on sale at the time and am so impressed by this machine! In fact, I love this blender.....what in the world was I thinking all these years?!!! We make tons of protein shakes and smoothies at our home and the power of this machine is unlike any other blender we've EVER had! It's about the same size at a Vitamix so be prepared to sacrifice some counter space but it's well worth it! It's powerful, quiet and super efficient.....it has literally cut my prep time in half! I was looking to replace my old blender with something more powerful, and this one delivers. I tested it with ice to see how well it could handle it. At first, the ice got stuck above the blades and they spun freely, but once I used the tamper, it crushed the ice into powder with no problem. It’s not quiet, but that’s fine with me, it’s powerful. I wasn’t sure about the red color at first, but it actually looks pretty good in person. Read more

Just received this blender today, opened package and it was packed very well. Plugged the blender into the outlet to clean out the container with some warm soapy water and nothing. Well that’s odd I thought, same outlet my old blender was in. So I double checked and made sure I had everything put together correctly. I mean there is not much to put together, just put the container on the base make sure it is sitting on correctly and the safety switch is pushed in. Try it again and nothing again. I thought I had to be doing something wrong, so I tried another outlet and nothing again. I just love getting a brand new item out of the box that does not work at all. Great quality control. Other things I would add that I noticed for the brief 10 minutes I tried to get it to work. The container does not sit on the base very well. Does not lock in at all, just sits on top. Very loose fitting and very wobbly. Looked nice but just doesn’t work. Our house hold uses a blender everyday, multiple times a day and this is horrible. Waited several days to get this and it doesn’t even work. Pathetic. If I could give less than 1 start I would. Read more
Easy to use and I love the timer feature so I can walk away and finish getting other things ready in the morning. Plastic so it’s not too heavy, and dishwasher safe makes it easy to clean. Read more
