I am so glad I got this for my hysterectomy preparation! I am 4 days post op. I started to use it the day after surgery to help squeeze the gasses out of the belly. It helped me to finally pass that gas 20 hours post-op. It helps me to feel contained and provides support so I don't exert as much effort while moving during my healing. It also helps me feel more contained and thus more comfortable when side sleeping. I am 6 feet tall and it covers enough area even for me.
