When I initially received my bag, I was very pleased. One of the most important things to me was that the bag would stand on it's own and not flop over. I looked at many bags over the course of 2 months until I settled on this one, and I thought it would be everything I wanted. However,...after about a month of using it ....it became like all the others. Just flopped on the floor when you put it down. I was very very disappointed and wrote a letter to Patricia Nash to tell her so. I got a response saying " this is one of our more relaxed items and it is normal for leather to soften over time. In the future, you may want to consider a more structured bag. If you have questions about which ones specifically will have more structure just let us know. We thank you for your feedback and will pass this along accordingly. Have a great day!"....wasn't exactly the response I was looking for. I'm not looking to provide them feedback to send along....I was hoping they would do the right thing and at least offer me an option to consider another bag. I will not purchase another bag from this company. Good customer service is crucial to maintain loyal customers and as this was my first purchase I felt it should have had a more personal response. The leather is supple and the lining is soft, and hardware is durable. Roomy enough to hold all my things, but not overly large and bulky. Craftsmanship in the design is very evident. Highly recommend. Read more

I like a crossbody strap, even though they can get in the way. I deal with that. This is a beautiful bag. I was hesitant to spend this kind of money on a bag sight unseen, but I took a chance due to their 100% refundable return policy. But it doesn't matter anyhow because I'm keeping the bag. Beautiful craftsmanship, wonderful leather smell (hopefully it was humanely crafted), and I've lots of compliments. Patricia Nash bags are unique and stylish and this style here is also timeless.
