I am a fan of Patricia Nash products. They’re extremely well made from extremely good materials. This backpack is no exception. There is a LOT of room inside and out for storing your items, and yet the pack still doesn’t look clunky. The backpack strap will take some getting used to because it can be switched from a back pack to an over-the-shoulder purse, to a cross-body purse. That means the backpack strap will slip around a little while in the backpack position. But I learned to “work” with it in a couple of days, and it doesn’t bother me. This is a beautiful purse/bag that is 100% grain leather and has a smooth inside lining that is Not flimsy or cheap. The craftsmanship is beautiful. I've also ordered the wallet to match. I love this bag. I have the brown one also. I have several Patricia Nash bags. They are the best quality bags I’ve ever own. The reason why I gave this bag a 3 rating is because part of it ripped. It also doesn’t seem to be the same quality as my other Patricia Nash bags. It might be because of the black leather. I’m not sure. I’m still using it because it was so expensive but I’m looking for my next bag already. Read more

I really wished I could have kept this bag I loved the design of the bag as well as the design of the leather. But I would have liked to use it as a shoulder bag but the straps were very long to accommodate it being a backpack. I loved the handle and just the overall look but I returned it because I never would have used it. Read more

This backpack is Great... It is not to big and not to small it is perfect. I have another one in a print( watercolor) but I also wanting a black one. I am 5 2" and it is the perfect backpack holder everything I need and then some and it is not heavy. Read more

For the price, it is a nice bag. I have been carrying it for 8 months everyday and no issues. I also was not impressed with the strap. For the price and quality of the bag, they could have done better. I purchased a different strap to use on the bag. Very popular and easy to find cheaply and can change the strap out for the seasons. Do not be fooled. This is not a Patricia Nash designs bag. I have one in the cognac tan color this bag. It's so much larger. The leather straps are not real leather end fabric on the back is not something that Patricia Nash does. Also, the grapevine stamp is in the wrong place. Do not be fooled.
