Plastic treat hole (yellow portion) tends to fall out with my semi aggressive chewer but ball can still be used as a toy without the piece. Great quality and remaining toy structure is durable. Would still recommend the product regardless! Read more
The media could not be loaded. This is the best ever. Shark was eating way to fast. I tried several items and this works he has to think how to get the food out and he only gets a few pieces at a time. Read more

We have about 5 treat dispenser ball toys. Our crafty 2 year old Labrador Retriever has always been able to unscrew the top where you put the food in. The first ball spit in the middle, and she got it apart and dumped out all the treats. The next four dispensers had smaller and smaller round doors, but she twisted them apart as well eventtually. The brilliance of this toy is that it has two yellow round doors with different sized holes for the treats to come out of. The larger fits our dog food perfectly, and both doors have a slot in the middle that you use the included triangle shaped item (see picture) to loosen and tighten ether door. The doors stay on. Our lab has to roll the toy around until the food comes out as intended. Finally she is eating slower. This is a winner. Slow eating for over a week. She has not twisted the door off one bi sofar. UPDATE 6 MONTHS: After using the toy once a day for 6 months for lunch the turquoise rubber outside started to detach and started covering the yellow opening. it was hard to spin it around back so the opening was available for kibble to enter or leave. Very frustrated for our dog when kibble stoped coming out. The outer part needs to be attached more securely to the inner part. Eventually took off the turquoise cover all together and have even using it without it. It is alot noiser than before, but still works, but with the cover off u can see the inner parts which are quite beat up. Still a good toy, just needs a redesign to fix the cover coming off making it last longer. Update: Just shy of 15 months this food dispensing toy finally died. 9 months with out the rubber cover and lots of chewing left holes where the sounds used to slide and come out. The wholes are so big that treats just fall out of them. With so many holes, the food just came out way to easily so in the trash the toy goes. All in all, this thing lasted well and or dog never did get the fill opening to unscrew to let the food out like she can with all other ball food dispensing toys we have tried. It lasted way longer than all the rest. Good toy. They should glue the rubber cover on better is the only improvement I can suggest. Read more

I ordered the blue which is supposed to be for small dogs but itβs huge. My dog is scared of it. Itβs too big and heavy for her to push around or feel comfortable with. Iβm very disappointed that this isnβt more usable because I think it would be a fun toy for her. Read more
I have a double doodle that is in constant explore/play mode. This ball is awesome and thoughtfully constructed. The outside is hard plastic to resist chewing. My dog is large enough he can pick up the ball in his mouth, but can not damage the plastic. Inside are two plastic thingies that make a fun squeak sound as it rolls around. Honestly, a squeaky ball is awesome enough. But the treat hole on this is the best feature. The ball comes with three hole covers! One is just plastic, if you don't want to put food in it. The other two pieces have a large and small treat hole option! You simply unscrew what is on there and you can add treats as needed and change the hole size if desired. This is indestructible and FUN for dogs! Read more
This dog ball toy is much bigger than I expected. I have three "under 12 lb" dogs. The product description does include "small dogs", so I assumed this ball would be suitable for small dogs. Unfortunately all three of my "under 12 lb" dogs were afraid of it and wouldn't touch it and ran away from it. Why a 4 star rating anyway? Because even though my small dogs would have nothing to it with it, this ball would probably be an attractive toy for larger dogs who wouldn't be afraid of its size. It is really solid, well-built and thoughtfully designed. It makes a very cute sound when it rolls on the ground. I think you can only use "dry treats" and/or kibble inside because anything moist or wet would get stuck inside the ball and it seems like it would be difficult to clean the inside of the ball. I can't tell if it is dishwasher safe or not. I wish it came in a smaller size for smaller dogs because it really seems to be a top notch quality dog ball - just for larger dogs, IMO. Read more
