Let me start by saying I love Peak Design products, I have nearly all of them. I carry a camera around daily sometimes so having a bag built like a camera bag with padding but also with EDC use in mind really makes this bag worth the money to me. The shelves in the bag can be rearranged like a camera bag giving you different bag layouts. The 300 degree zip pull with 4 zippers gives you access to different parts of the main bag without opening everything and unloading to get to he bottom of the bag. I would highly recommend. Read more

The bag shape is firm. If looking for a bag that will shrink when empty, this bag does not compress. It also does not accommodate more than expected. As a camera bag, the assumption is that one will not have a cross body sling bag or something similar in addition to this one. Access to this bag's side presumes being able to swing the whole bag to one's front, unlikely if one has another bag. Even without another bag in the way, one would need to plan out where the zippers rest to take advantage of any access efficiencies. The bag is constructed well. The materials seem good. Never the less, I will return the one I ordered as it does not fit my use case or need. Read more

I have tried to find the best backpack for a while... I admit - the price of this backpack is not cheap but hooo boy - the design, the material and their service are all impeccable. Best backpack ever... Read more

I want to love it because it seems to be really well thought out. It nicely stores my DSLR and an extra lens, my laptop, a small tablet and room for some extras like a water bottle, clothes, camera accessories or snacks. I was actually planing on taking this bag on a backpack trip through SE Asia because it carries everything so well. However with it fully loaded, a walk through an airport terminal is painful and an afternoon exploring a city will leave you fatigued. It’s more than uncomfortable, it’s almost painful. I don’t know how they could have gotten the storage aspect so right but the suspension so wrong. Read more

I was told by Peak Design that this bag would accommodate a MacBook Pro 16 inch and while it was very close, I could not get the zipper to close. It's too bad, because the 30L fits my MBP16 just fine but is a little larger than I require (which I guess overall is not such a bad thing). Great quality and great bag, but if you have a larger laptop, you may want to look at the 30L. I really wish this one had worked out. Read more

The product looks great, nicely designed. But when used for its intended use, a camera bag, I found it to be VERY uncomfortable. I had a modest mirrorless camera set-up with two additional lenses. The issue is the straps where cutting into my shoulders, painful. There’s an optional waist/hip belt which may help but that’s now more money on an already overpriced product. Looking into better options which are more functional not stylish. Read more

The side access makes no sense as when you open up a zipper any other way besides on your body your gear is going to fall out. I need a bag that protects my gear not one that let's it fall out. I'm going with a full access bag from Peter McKinnon and Nomatic. Read more
