UPDATE 12/16/25 So a little over one month and it's still working perfectly. Lights are as bright as ever so batteries are doing the job. Whenever I pass by the room and look to the back wall where it's on a bookcase shelf - and I know this is kind of crazy, but seeing those large bright green numbers gives me a lot of pleasure. Part of that pleasure is because I recently had cataract surgery (one eye so far) and being able to see anything that far away is nothing short of a blessing. And also because I love the color green. Very happy with this purchase. Just got this yesterday. Of course I can't comment yet on the longevity so my rating is provisional, but my first impression is: What a nice little clock. It's exactly what I wanted. I chose the green digits and that's a nice /change from the kind of worn out looking red digits on the very very old clock we were replacing. The lights can be dimmed if wanted or necessary and so that's a good thing, although I like the lighting as bright as possible. The other thing I like is that it's battery operated and so doesn't take up an outlet. I tested the alarm and it's good. However, we're not using it for the alarm. Although, you never know when you might need an extra one. The clock is lightweight, but it's not flimsy and easily sets up. I did have to take a peek at the instructions for how to set the time. But it's a cinch. The other thing I like is that it's actually very cheerful to look at. Nice big numbers in a lovely bright green. Kind of like Christmas. All in all I think this is a very good purchase and hope it lasts a long time. Don't see why it wouldn't, but you never know. For now it's a big 5 stars. Time will tell, literally. Read more
This battery operated clock is just the right size for my need. I like that itโs battery operated and I can move it around as needed. There is a small user manual included. The clock was easy to set up. The numbers are large and bright, and easy to see. The brightness level can be adjusted. I like this clock, and I am pleased with my purchase. Read more

Good clock with a beautiful green LED display. Keeps good time. This is a battery operated clock that uses 4- AA batteries. Would be nice if you could use an external AC power adapter. Also, you need to clap your hands loudly inorder for the clock brightness to come up when used in the living room. They need to increase the mic sensitivity so that you don't have to yell loudly across the room. Still a pretty good clock for the price! Read more

Size is smart phone size. Available in red or green light. Has three setting from bright to night. It is only battery operated which is exactly what I wanted. Instructions easy to follow but the settings are in the back so using the settings while watching the number to set the time is challenging. This was my 3rd try to get the clock I wanted.
