I absolutely love these. I have many cheap cheaters around the house and at work, I hate having to take them on an off all the time. I find myself wanting to use these progressives ALL the time. It's like you have perfect vision. You can keep the glasses on and look up and see CLEAR. That is so - so great. While wearing, you can hold up something small - read it with the bottom of the lens, then look mid lens to focus on your computer screen and then look at the top of lens to see far away. post cataract surgery that corrects for distance. Have to wait for final prescription. Basic readers did not do it. I could work close with readers, or I could see distant without glasses. Nothing let me see clearly at mid distances. Doing anything that changed distance was difficult. Cleaning house was impossible. These make all the difference. I can see for tasks that require constantly changing distances, and finally have good middle distance vision. They are not perfect. For absolute pristine distance vision, I have to shift them down my nose slightly. For close work, my eyes are slightly different. I had worn prescription progressives for many years, so I am used to the limitations of those in general. Your mileage may vary. They will not replace prescription progressives once things settle down post surgery, as they do not correct a slight astigmatism, nor do they have the small prizm correction that I need long term. But for the time until I can get a final prescription, they are a wonderful solution, and will make great backup glasses. Worth every penny of the cost and expedited shipping. Comfortable and stay on my small face. Don't care if they break in a couple of months. My only regret was not purchasing them before surgery. Read more

Nice looking glasses but broke at the side hinge within two weeks of owning them with no rough treatment I was just sliding them up onto my head. I've bought these before and was happy with them but this pair was actually wider and wanted to slip off my face and obviously cheaper then the previous pair. Needed something that would work after my cataract surgery. I now did not need glasses for distance, but my medium and close-up vision still needed correction and I didn’t want to have to take reading glasses on & off. Some of the other similar progressive, over-the-counter glasses still were not perfectly clear for the top, they had slight magnification still. These are good quality too. My only complaint is the size and style visually. I don’t like this big clunky look. The other choices were just as big or bigger. I do think the tortoise looks really pretty. In the end, I am still very glad I bought them since they do work for what I needed. Read more

Maybe it's my eyes, but the reader part of these glasses is disappointing - you have to hold your head very still or else text gets distorted. It is nice to be able to look up and down between reading and the TV across the room, but I end up using my normal readers more. Read more
