Not weak: Not bitter
Being from the Bay Area, I feel we have a more eclectic palette for coffee than most. Many of us do not do Starbucks, but my story on Starbucks. I went with a friend and she got me a black coffee. I couldn't finish. It was so bad. I figured out why customers do all these sugar pumps of crap for your system. It's because the coffee is so bad. I compared Pete’s process with Starbucks coffee beans, both decaffeinated and caffeinated. It's much healthier process of Peet’s than Starbucks. Starbucks used, not sure now. A chemical process, not a water steam. I stick with Pete’s or if I do change, I go with Louisiana brand coffees with chicory. I'm waiting for Pete’s to do a chicory. Hint. Hint. I like this particular café Domingo coffee because it's so smooth. You get the strength of drinking a cup of coffee, but it's not bitter.. The finish is really almost sweet. It's not a weak coffee, Pete’s makes coffees that are lighter but from my review, this is a really nice coffee. Read more
