Using this Pelegon Quad Cane was easier than using my traditional canes. After total knee replacement surgery, I needed a sturdy assistive device to help with balance. There is some rocking because the ground/floors are not always flat, but for the most part, it's tolerable. The best feature of this model is the stand-alone capability. As I became more mobile, I needed greater use of my hands. Trying to balance a traditional cane against a counter or table while cooking was aggravating. No such problems with the quad cane. This hands-free convenience sealed the deal for me. The metal is solid and keeps its shape and color. It looks brand new after five months of consistent use. The wrist strap is a nice addition. Be sure to refer to the sizing tips. Proper height adjustment helps to avoid arm, back, and knee discomfort. I asked my occupational therapist about the correct way to walk with a cane. I was advised to carry the cane in the hand opposite to the repaired knee. Also, the cane and repaired knee should advance at the same time. Good to know! Read more
Very sturdy this is my second one I also bought a back up one Read more
Very stable, well anchored on the ground, however the only negative is that this came is heavy. All of this stability and sturdiness does come at a price, and if you could get past the weight, this is probably the best quad cane out there. Read more
Good design, easy to assemble, not too heavy. Easy to adjust the height. Read more
The 4-prongs and wide measure of the prongs gives a LOT of stability. And the cane is very maneuverable with a very good handle. I'm going to get a hip replacement, and am using this cane in the meantime and it works well. Read more

My dad had a bad fall and couldn't use a walker while his arm healed. This cane was sturdier than his other canes due to the wider quad foot design. You can turn it so with the inner feet in the more streamlined position so they don't trip you as you're walking. It can be used by either hand and just depends on how you assemble it. Assembly was easy enough and just required snapping the parts together. Depending on hand mobility, you might need help pushing the parts together. This cane offers good support for a good range of weight and improves mobility. The extra weight gives it a little more heft and makes it easier to remember to set each step down carefully. The design is attractive, and it's very convenient that it stands up on its own so you don't have to lean it against something or retrieve it if it falls. Much better value to just get this cane first because it's well worth the extra support! Read more
