The Pendleton Vintage Camp Berber Kuddler Dog Bed has been an excellent addition to our home. It's impressively sturdy, even when our dog gets playful and rough with it. Our dog absolutely adores this bed, often bringing his toys to it and enjoying long, comfortable naps. The unique and attractive design has also garnered numerous compliments from guests, making it not just a cozy spot for our pet, but a stylish piece of decor as well. We highly recommend it for both its durability and aesthetic appeal. Read more

A bit pricey, but itβs clear how happy it makes my dog. She loves leaning on the high edges in different ways. Now she is always first to bed and last to get up. Read more

The product overall has cushions, is attractive, and though on the extreme high end price wise--I can get an Orvis bed that is far superior for less money, the biggest drawback is the cover. Durable and attractive...but is berber, made largely of wool, which 3 of my dogs and both cats seem to find irresistable to pee on. None of these animals have issues with any of the other 6 beds and various blankets throughout the house and car, nor have a history of marking or urinanting on beds or anything else. One of my cats kept trying to chew/eat the cover and kept vomiting the residue. I wrapped the internal cushions in plastic and used packing tape to make them fluid tight, but the dogs still pee on the cover every day the bed is on the ground and it is exhausting trying to wash it continually, nor can I live with the odor. I have had to move it to a space the elder cat can't access so she can't continue to try to ingest the cover. I have sprayed the cover with dog and cat phermones, tried using all sorts of wahes and sprays intended to discourage the dogs and cats from using it as an indoor litter box, contacted my vet and spent a lot of time online using google to see what the heck is up. As I learned, wool is an attractant for both species to urinate on and/or try to eat. I was going to return it initially given that, although the price was high and the quality good, and I liked the appearance, I would rather spend less and have another and (IMO) higher bang for the buck Orvis bed. However now this has all become an issue, and I can't in good conscience return a bed that is as advertised material wise just because some of my pets are waging war on it, so to speak. Although they still like to lay in it, ridiculousy. Anyhow, as other folks have said, its an attractive and well made bed. I believe its overpriced for other high end beds out there, but I am writing this review primarily to suggest potential buyers explore the berber/wool reactivity of their own pets before purchasing by trying an old sweater, piece of carpet, or throw or something before investing. Good Luck in the hunt for the perfect pet bed for your fur kid(s). Read more
